Hello! Welcome to a new topic about a combined Balkan Tree! Well, you know what it's about, so I won't explain anything...Let's start!

Also, I won't leave a lot of info about the tanks. People can search on the internet.

FTR article about Yugo tanks: http://ftr.wot-news....t-v-yugoslavia/

Tier 1: FT M26/27 - Yugoslavia

FT with a different Kegresse suspension.

Medium Tank Line

- This line does also include some low tier lights.

Tier 2:

Skoda T-11 - Bulgaria

-A version of the Pz. 35(t) (LT vz. 35) with a different gun (A7), used by Bulgaria.

R-2c - Romania

-A version of the Pz. 35(t) with cemented armor. Also, unlike the normal R-2 (Pz. 35(t) ), the R-2c had a different turret rear, made of 2 armor plates in the shape of a ''v''. Used by Romania.

Praga P-IIaj - Yugoslavia - Light tank

-A version of the Pz. 35(t) with 15mm of frontal armor. The Yugoslavian and Czechoslovakian armies didn't accept the tank because of the thin armor.

Tier 3:

R-3 - Romania

-Romania wanted to buy Skoda T-21 tanks from CZSK, but the Germans didn't allow them to do it. In the Romanian army, it would have been called ''R-3''. Then, Romania wanted to build a local version of the tank, but the industry was too weak.

S-IIa-j - Yugoslavia - Light tank

-A much more powerful version of the Pz.35(t). One of the advantages was the more powerful 47mm A9 gun. Yugo wanted to buy the tank, but Czechoslovakia got occupied, so Yugo never got these tanks.

Tier 4:

SOMUA S35 with 6-pdr gun - Yugoslavia.

-Modified SOMUA S35 with a British 6-pdr gun. The turret was also different. Created by Yugoslavian partisans.

Tier 5:

Mark IV/76mm - Yugoslavia

-Proposal to rearm the Pz. IV with a US M1A1 76mm gun. Only existed in drawings.

Tier 6:

Vozilo-A - Yugoslavia

-Improved version of the T-34. it had a very different turret and other big modifications

Tier 7:

M-328/628 ''Galeb'' - Yugoslavia

-More powerful version of the Vozilo A, with a 90mm American gun.

Tier 8:

M-320 - Yugoslavia

-An attempt to create a copy of the T-54. Project was cancelled.

Tier 9:

M-636 ''Kondor'' - Yugoslavia

-An emulated T-54

Tier 10:

M-636D - Yugoslavia

-The ''ultimate'' version of the tank above.

TR-580 -  Romania

-A modified version of the T-55, made in Romania. About 400 vehicles were made. In the game, its additional armor plate of the hull will be removed, so the hull armor will be 100mm

Tank Destroyer Line

-I haven't found a lot about Yugoslavian TDs, so I'm just gonna write their names. Probably you will find more about them on the internet.

Tier 2:

TACAM R-1 - Romanian

-Plans to rearm the R-1 tankettes with a Soviet 45mm AT gun. Project was cancelled.

Vanatorul de Care R-35 - Romania

- R-35 with Soviet 45mm gun and extended turret front. 30 were made.

Skoda S-I-j/S-I-d - Yugoslavia

Tier 3:

TACAM R-2 - Romania

-R-2 with the turret removed, a compartment added and a 76,2mm ZiS-3 gun added. 21 were made.

TACAM T-60 - Romania

-T-60 with removed turret, 76,2mm F-22 gun added together with a compartment which was 15mm thick. 34 were made.

SO-75 M-3A3 - Yugoslavia

Tier 4:

Maresal M-05 - Romania

-TD that inspired the Hetzer. It had a 75mm Romanian gun.

SO-75 Mark III - Yugoslavia

Tier 5:

Maresal M-03

-Same as the one above, but has a 122mm howitzer, probably too strong for tier 4.

SO-76/85 Majbach - Yugoslavia

 Tier 6:

Tun Antitanc Autopropulsat Md. 1985 - Romania

-Proposal to rearm the MLI-84 armored car with a 100mm gun and to add it a small, rectangular turret. No prototipes were made. It was made in 1985, but it's good for WoT.

Vozilo-B - Yugoslavia

Tier 7:

SO-122 M-4 - Yugoslavia

-M4 Sherman with a 122mm gun.

Tier 8:

Model 89 - Romania

-A 2s1 Gvozdika built under license by Romania on a modified MLI-84 hull. Its armor is about 20mm thick. It had a 122mm gun. Modern, but good for WoT. Almost 50 were made. It could also be a higher tier, probably.

The line ends here and merges with the Medium Tank Line.

SPG Line

-Haven't found anything about them, so I'll just write names. ALL are Yugoslavian.

Tier 2: SO-75 H-35

Tier 3: SO-150 M-3A3

Tier 4: SO-105 M-18

Tier 5: SO-122 (H) M-4

Tier 6: SO-155 (H) T-34

Tier 7: SO-130 (T) SO-155 (T) M-4 Mod

Tier 8: SO-152 (T) SO-155 (T) T-54

Tier 9: SO-203 (H) T-54/55

Tier 10: SO-203 (T) T-55

PREMIUMS

Hotchiss Mod - Yugo - Tier 2 LT

TACAM T-38 - Romania - Tier 3 TD

SO-76 M18 Mod - Yugo - Tier 6 TD

M-634 - Yugo - Tier 6 MT

SO-90 M36 Mod - Yugo - Tier 7 TD

T-34-90 - Yugo - Tier 7 MT

Possible Tanks

Pz. 4/ZiS-3 (Bulgaria)

-The Bulgarians made BUNKERS (Yeah, they didn't have tracks) out of Pz. 4s and added them ZiS-3 guns. But WG could unhistorically add it tracks (they added a lot of unhistorical things to WoT) and make it a tier 4 MT of TD

Excellent post, thank you. It was nice to search for the tanks mentioned, I found some interesting sites. I really hope this will eventually come to be because Yugoslavian tanks were almost all based on Russian, but were heavily modified and essentially much better than the Russian tanks. Of course, Yugoslavia never got any new or secret Soviet tanks to tinker with, but the older models. Never the less, those tanks could be really, really interesting addition to the game.

I don't see why it would cause rage. Serbs and Croats may hate each other, but i don't think it would cause rage

After the WWII, say from 50-60’s up to fckn war we had here, Yugoslavian army was considered the one of strongest in the Europe (Brits, Russians, Germans and French leading....). It was not that "tank strong" during the WWII to match great nations involved in the war, but still good enough army to consider. Despite the sh1t we have had here in 90s, it does not make any argument against the option. I personally think that (in this moment) we have more than enough tank lines in the game - which BTW has bigger issues than a need for introducing another tank line. But if anyone thinks that there is a space for fitting one more in the game, Yugoslav (or mixed line like noted above) is a legit option.

Exactly what I'm talking about.

It's such a beast if you play 2XDW2 and B1 in a platoon you can kill tier5's and you have so much health you can take on tier 3-4 tanks pretty easily.

Personally I think it's enough tanks in this game already. IMHO it would even be enough if we had only German/U.S.S.R/U.S.A/U.K tanks in this game, i.e. countries that actually had a major role in WW2. There are far more important things to fix in this game then adding tanks from each country in the entire world just becuase some player thinks that his countries tanks must be included in the game aswell :)

Doesn't look like WG thinks the same...They have added France, Japan, Czechoslovakia, China and as far as I know they want to add Sweden and Polish tanks this year

http://ftr.wot-news.com/2014/04/30/european-tree-part-v-yugoslavia/

Here you have some missing info about Yugoslav tanks and proposed tech tree.

I am from Balkan (Serbia), but I think that Sweden line is much more interesting. And it would be much more easier to build tech tree without clones.

Polish tree should come after Sweden, Yugoslav and Italian trees because all these trees have much more interesting tanks then Poland.

Of course WG builds Poland tree because they have more players from Poland.

No, we don't hate each other. I mean sure there is the vocal minority but most of us get along just fine. Heck, i'm a serb in a croatian clan.
