I'm partial to a bit of Classic FM now and then and nothing will move me to tears like a live orchestra with a violin solo but rock is my first love.

I listen to both at once :D Symphonic metal sounds amazing.

My main love is viking/battle/folk/power metal (hence the nickname). Turisas, Korpiklaani, Blind Guardian, Manowar and the like.

Look up 'Stormwarrior'. They're the best band you've never heard of.

I quite like the beginning of that.

EDIT: Does it lessen the effect if my tattoos are nerdy rather than METAL! as the Poll specifies?

I will a few bars of Alestorm on the headphone when the family go to bed. I assume it should be played relatively loud?

I works beautifully through my iPhone headphones blaring out full volume, so I'd say yes - has the benfit of letting others hear it too ;)

I recommend "Captain Morgan's Revenge" or "Nancy the Tavern Wench".

My hair won't grow much past the shoulders (it's too weak) but at least I haven't needed a haircut in 8 years!

Either way I'll subscribe to the larger than life hard&heavy rock/metal collection, motorcycles, and 6 electric guitars of various pointy shapes and vibrant colors.

Oh, and while I see Doug's point, still, bringing classical into a heavy metal thread is somewhat off topic unless you're talking about Yngwie Malmsteen :D

What, it's beautiful. Try Haggard and Therion.

I have no idea how high I'd rate on this.

My ideal weekend is not 14 hours of WoT+Metal (no points there).
I have screamed myself hoarse on a metal concert (In Flames).
No tattoo (no point there either)
Does it count if you've driven an APC during Kosovo peacekeeping missions? Do you get bonus point if you jury rigged the in vehicle comsystem to be able to play metal whenever there weren't any com traffic?
No metal haircut.
Never considered a 155mm shell. I have considered using a 105mm Haubits m/40 shell (a dud collected by my grandfather during WWII. Disarmed I might add).

The new stuff's good too. "Back Through Time" is a bloody fantastic song. Also "Chronicles of Vengeance" and "Over the Seas". In fact all of them  :Smile-izmena:

Love everything from Rock to Hardrock to pretty much every kind of metal. :)
Then there's also Metalcore and Hardcore (American Hardcore, not to be confused with the, in my opinion, bad Dutch Hardcore) and some Electro, Trance, Rap and other
random stuff that I like. But most of my music library exists of Hardrock to pretty much every kind of Metal and some Metalcore.  :Smile_honoring:

Anyone coming to Graspop Metal Meeting?  :Smile-izmena:
