Anyone coming to Graspop Metal Meeting?  :Smile-izmena:

Not this year. I went there year after year, but the line-up sucks since 2010. I also don't have any money to spend on a ticket.

I ticked 1 box in the poll, but i suppose i'm pretty metal. Over 2 terabytes of black metal.

Sisters !

Cue nostalgia trip from various ancient Goths in the audience.......bloody good tanking music, tho'.
Crashed a motorbike into a Ford Escort once under the influence of Adrenochrome, got up from the road after flying about 10m, sliding 5 more and the only thing I was annoyed about was that i'd busted my Walkman. :P

She Wants Revenge and Mastodon should be mentioned by someone....

Although I rate myself as "Enter Sandman", I don't listen to "metal metal".
Doom/Sludge/Stoner are my favorites.

And this is my favorite festival:

My amplifier doesn't count in numbers...except Watts.

For our house 1200W is more then enough for any kind of music :Smile-izmena:

I ticked 2, so I'm enter Sandman lvl

In reply to the OP - it seems I didn't fit in any of your poll choices (well, maybe the haircut, but that was loooong ago), but here's my list of what I listen:
- Type O'Negative; may Peter rest in peace
- Paradise Lost - still kickin'
- Apocalyptica
- Lacuna Coil
- Disturbed
- Soilwork
- Die Krupps (metal versions, not electronics)
- Raunchy (not all of'em, but still)
- Enter Shikari (yeah, I know...)

Special mention: Queensryche - forever. "Silent Lucidity" and "Jet City Woman" marked my 18's birthday and I'll cherish them forever.

This is just a small compilation, but I think I nailed the most representative for me.

P.S. Luckily for me my wife is kinda "brain damaged" ans she likes this music a lot :).

Amon Amarth are my current house gods of metal.

I also dig Entombed, In Flames, Mastodon, Soilwork, The Haunted, Arch Enemy...oh and DevilDriver...how could I forget them...I also like a lot of more Rock and Roll stuff, but since we are talking METAL...

I never had long hair like a woman though...

Quality. That bloke puts Animal in the shade. He is some kind of mental, theatrical, overagressive head-the-ball. I like it.

Sisters !

Apart from the metal, I'm a massive Sisters fan - Walk Away was always my favorite :)

Also partial to a bit of Bauhaus.

Here's my weekend wishes to you all, this thread seems appropriate. Brilliant video, brilliant song, brilliant band:

Man that was the best way to start a Monday morning. I'll be looking those guys up.

I had to dust off my Death Magnetic album at the weekend and listen to: That Was Just Your Life. What an intro!

Love everything from Rock to Hardrock to pretty much every kind of metal. :)
Then there's also Metalcore and Hardcore (American Hardcore, not to be confused with the, in my opinion, bad Dutch Hardcore) and some Electro, Trance, Rap and other
random stuff that I like. But most of my music library exists of Hardrock to pretty much every kind of Metal and some Metalcore.

Anyone coming to Graspop Metal Meeting?  :Smile-izmena:

Dutch hardcore isn't bad. It's horrible! Right along with all that Jannes, Jan Smit, Frans Bauer crap. Really not going to miss any of that at all.

It's about the music you listen to as you trundle about in your hunk of steel.

Do you do METAL! with your metal? ;)

Are are all METAL! fans metal fans and vice versa? I can't see me listening to Vivaldi as stroll about the Steppes dealing out the pain with my KV Derp.

And then there is always "S&M" from Metallica and you can claim you listen to classical music

The violin concertos are really marvellous to kill to Wing. The delicate harmonic structure intermingled with the exploding carcass of your enemy is a magical mix  B)

No one liked my Red Fang-video, so all ya'll have bad taste in music... and life in general.  :Smile_grumpy:

Also, no one understood "11" and said anything about Slayer - not very metal, this place.
