It feels like it got a slight stealth nerf.
It now takes longer to aim than before as it use to aim in slightly faster than it could fire now it takes slightly longer.
The gun no longer seems to have the accy it use to have and i am sure it use to have 4.0 listed now its 4.3.
The ammo rack hit box feels much much weaker and bigger as it now seems to be hit none stop unlike before the patch.
Now i will say i only had a few battles around 10 since patch but it just feels weaker than before the patch.

Well as already explained the accuracy, aim time, traverse etc figures have changed with the 7.2 patch. All accuracy of all tanks have a number reduction but there is no actual effect in-game. 133% figures were the old, 100% since 7.2.
Ammo rack thing I'm pretty sure is because of people now using the Dead Eye perk. As I am ammo racking more enemy tanks and getting mine damaged in return more often. But this also applies to all tanks not just the Church.

Just took out an easy 8 in a fair 1v1. It really isn't a bad tank if you know how to get the most from it.

Churchill is a total deficit.

Hi,
Please let me know how you are finding it after a few more games? My feeling is after 5250 games in it roughly 14 a day for the last year is that it has been well and truelly nerfed.

Accuracy is listed as worse due to the statistic changes when it comes down to writing the stats. Accuracy feels the same to me.
Ammo rack feels fine to me. Prehaps you been unfortunate to play against people using hitbox skins. Ammo racks are why I always carry a repair kit. I make enough money to purchase 4-6 of them each sucsessful game.
Hull armour was buffed in 0.7.0. It now has a small section on the front where the armour is 177mm. Most of it still has around 100mm of armour which is why people can still penetrate.
Last patch it had its matchmaking level decreased. Now its highest tier it can fight against is tier 6 instead of tier 7.
Income was also increased by 8%. Not much, but it may cover your ammo costs.
The Churchill will (hopefully) soon be getting a new ability. As the real life Churchill had great mobilty which allowed it to go places other tanks couldn't, the ingame Churchill may also get this ability. It is unknown what the ability will actually allow us to do but rumour has it that it will allow the Churchill to "Go anywhere" as Listy put it. Overlord answered him saying we should have had it in 0.7.2 but we obviously haven't. I can only assume that we will be getting it in the next patch.
If anything it is now the only tank I fine relaxing in this game. The high RoF with decent accuracy means I can just casually drive down somewhere and shoot any tanks I run into. Being top tier 9 out of 10 battles is fun too.
Hell, the last game I played in it was on Live Oaks (The new US map). I went to the town and stood on my own against 5 tanks. Killed 3 of them by myself and seriously injured the forth. Only reason I died was because the last two surrounded me. Good flanking move on their behalf. The tanks I killed was P38t, T1 Heavy and Hetzer. Killed by another T1 Heavy (Which I injured heavily) and a T40, who had a chain gun to my ass. Only reason I died was because this guy was behind me. Good on him. We still won the battle though. But I did a large role in it.

Churchill is my favourite premium tank, it actually recieved a buff with it's lower mm.

Ok, after 20 battles or so since patch, i can say I have noticed no difference in the performance of my churchill, still loving it and dealing rapid fire death, still killing kv's on a regular basis.
Credit buff and lower mm are nice.

The patch notes contain nothing beyond a matchmaking level decrease, which is an unqualified buff. Unless you're going to do some proper controlled experiments and prove that the Church got stealth nerfed, why should anyone believe you? I haven't noticed anything worse about my Churchill, in fact the addition of the new crew skills has made the tank much more versatile - Snap Shot and Smooth Ride combined mean you don't even have to stop your advance to unleash an accurate full-auto barrage any more.
The tracks still soak up an ungodly amount of damage, your cannon still spits an unceasing accurate rain of death, the front plate still bounces, derp KVs still ammo rack you to death in one shot. Nothing has changed.

It has it's mm improved AND recieved a credit income buff. I like it more now then before the patch because now it finally earns a decent buck (about 20k a round).
