I got bored with the old crew sounds and put together a sound pack. It contains some realistic voice and some cool sounds to spice things up a bit :)

Recommend using with WoT WAR Atmosphere mod with it.

Preview:

Download:
http://www.2shared.c...Ou7j/audio.html

Installation:
Go to folder \\World_Of_Tanks\res\audio

make backups of the old files:
ingame_voice.fsb
ingame_voice.feb
gui.fsb
gui.fev

replace the files with the contents in the mod.

Tip: Use auto-aim and unlock the auto-aim just before you fire for a more immersive experience.

Enjoy!   :Smile_honoring:

Pretty cool, and it fits me well seeing as I drive US vehicles almost exclusively. My only complaints are that it's very quiet, even with a ton of volume adjustment, the range finding voice or whatever it is (the robot sounding one) is kinda distracting, and the crew keeps talking after the tank is knocked out ("Awaiting orders").

Good job, I can't wait to see improvements.

Nope you're not the only one.
The voices are to low in volume and you cant hear them good at all.

If you watch the OP's video it seems he has engine sounds disabled, or very low on volume (can't really tell)  to hear the crew. That's not acceptable for me.

Charon226, Aye, the "awaiting orders" and similar sounds are either the minimap ping sound, or the effect when you or someone else uses one of the F-buttons or marks a target for attack.
Will mess around some with the volume also, if it works out Ill release an improved version :)

BSDrelent, I liked them and would use them if only there were no music playing in the background.

jack2484, Here is my audio settings :)

Yeah, I though so.

Well if you can up the volume for the mod it will be better for everyone.

ironic how i brought the subject up and yet jack gets all the credit ?

I see how it rolls on here np.

HA HA Joking ;p.

yeah the voices are ok i mean im not to picky of course but it does need fixing somewhat so its acceptable obviously then this sound mod can really compete with the other modifications.

I would like to increase the volume for you (and myself) but I would need help doing so ^^

The sounds was recorded by playing the sound files and pressing the record button so the sound quality suffers.. I can only increase the volume 5-6db without distorting the audio too much and I dont think those 5-6db is worth the effort.
