I am still a new player and im experimenting with lots of different nations and types of tanks and this restriction really cripples my ability to try things out freely.

Five or so, I believe.
I can understand it for tiers above V, but it can give newbies trouble during X5 events that last for some time, meaning that they'll sell a ton of vehicles fast.

News to me, had no idea there was a limit, mind you, unless your playing it 24/7 why on earth would you want to sell that many tanks?

Considering the number of maps and average XP gain per battle there's not enough time to properly test 5 tanks per day.
One needs atleast 50 or so battles with a 100% tank crew to gain a basic understanding of a perticular tanks performance.
If you can play ~250 battles per day, apply for a job in WG QA department. Most of us are lucky to get 20 or so battles per day.
In short, 5 tanks sell limit per day is enough.

EXP gain is a lot in low tier.
And theres no reason for a limit, tell me one good reason why there should me a limit to how many tanks u can sell per day, lol.

so you wont lose whole garage in case of someone breaks into your account or a child decides to do some "clicking" while left alone with game

It's not that big, unless you buy 100% trained crews you will need a couple dozen battles before reaching 100%.

Last time I checked newly bought tanks always got x2/3/5 XP modifier.
Now some dishonorable individuals thought of a devious way to exploit that. SO they sold their tier 1 tanks over and over and over again while retaining their crews. Those crews had a double effective XP gain, triple or even x5 during special events.

Security Reasons? Thats the players own fault, why should the newbies suffer because of them?

because if you're a newbie trying lots of different lines in the tech tree, there can be quite often the situation that you're short on credits that are tied up in vehicles you don't want to drive anymore, but didn't sell early enough to avoid the 5 tanks limit.

Support is there for a reason.
Plus, the amount of new players being heavily restricted by this are more than the people who are hacked. And mind you, most people who got hacked is their own mistake.

for starters you could try to cheat the system by systematically buy new tier1 to get new xp bonuses... did you ever think about that ?

Cheat the system? Are you crazy? I just want to try out lots of different types of tanks and nations.

to prevent you losing all your tanks in one go if your account is hacked. some people seem to have 20-30 tanks.

Oh you haven't been here long. WoT support is the LAST one you want to call if you get hacked.
Hell their the last one you want to call period.
You'll simply end up losing you account, your progress and any money you've spent on this game.
On topic: 5 tanks is plenty. You just want to farm the hell out of low tier 5x events or DD.
