From Q&A 14:

You state that you are planning to have Tank Trees for 7 Nations. What are they?

USSR, Germany, USA, France, Britain, Japan and Combined Europe.

Opinions?

So after the four nations we already have, we will also get Britain and Japan. That's OK.

But I'm very concerned about this fictional Combined Europe. I fear it will be totally overpowered compared to the real nations. From Wikipedia:

The Combine, formally referred to as the Universal Union, is a multidimensional empire, which serves as the primary antagonistic force in the Half-Life video game series. The Combine consist of alien, synthetic, and human elements and dominate Earth.

Obviously those who still play normal tanks will not have a chance against these beasts from City 17:

Considering WG's job on the French tanks, I'm also very concerned about how they will balance these:

Striders, 50-foot-tall (15 m) armored creatures that walk upon three legs, which are armed with a high powered warpspace cannon and a head-mounted pulse turret.

(Mini-disclaimer: Yes I understand Combined Europe will be Polish, Czech, whatever)

I can't believe they'd do that... adding sci-fi junk to the game before zombies :Smile-hiding:

The military Overwatch forces of the Combine are shown attacking human resistance bases in an effort to further solidify their control.
