My thoughts in a similar situation (me in TigerII on Karelia alone defending the valley at the hill against 6 Tier7+ Tanks):
First: DAFUG! F7!
Second: Meh! We are all gonna die down here...so lets do a little damage!!  
They finally killed me but needed to fire 25shots at me hehe.

Maybe he is just simple team player who decided to follow mighty  T54s not knowing that they will make suicide rush on enemy..

So he might be thinking,
"damn newbies, i followed them thinking they know what they are doing but now i know i should just sit and camp and not try to team up with anyone!"

now i know you might disagree with me, but having best tanks rushing enemy base at start on this map while rest of your team cant fallow nor shoot where you are is making it hard for your team to have any chance of winning this game.
Also even if you scouted their base, expecting your arty to kill theirs, there is still few factors why your rush dont have to work even with arty spotted
TO add, t54 is much more important than hummell, and 2 t54s are more important on this map than any 2 arties from this printSC (maybe different maps different opinion).
-Rushing on this map on base 1 , you will be spoted long before you even come close to arty
-you might spot only weakest arty
-even with spoted enemy your arty might not have to be ready to shoot, or simple can miss
-and what buggs me most in any game is when arty dont mark targets on time, so you can get all your arties shooting at same enemy even tho you spotted them all

T-43 sucks anyway big time, that added to insult... with T-43 you NEVER go somewhere ALONE... even if they were some T-54 who suicides before this picture was taken (that much is that tank hated today!!?), he should have started going backwards a long time ago. With that shitty gun (curious, the IDIOT seems to perform way better on T-34-85 than on T-43) he could have anyway skipped the trip to enemy base.

Really WG, Russian medium line will DIE if you don't improve the guns!
T-54 has worst T9 gun, T-44 worst T8, etc.
The only one who makes fun is T-34-85, but only because of MM.

Happens to me every time, when we have meds and they play like heavy tank hidden down bellow houses... When they are not (rare games) we win within few minutes.

Dont get me wrong, I have decent stats in T43, but the tank feels like it lacks armor, I never bounced anything and the mobility aint great either.

Of course you are a better player, that can explain to some extent the stats. But you never thought the same about armor/mobility?
