Looks like a decent light/medium hybrid.
Might need a slightly stronger engine to actually work as a scout.
Overall:
Me likey, devs do it!

I think if world of tanks the M41 in the tech tree do,
that you the engine more can tune.
just as the M24 chaffee whit a orginal engine of 220hp,
and the elite engine 500hp
i hope that the M41 in the tech tree comes!!!

M41D is a Taiwan exported and upgraded version of Bulldog.. not suitable for wot
but the experimental bulldog T49 have a turret capable to mount a 90mm gun.. they can use this as the second turret for original M41 ingame

perfect for a tier 7 light tank!!!

I would... sacrifice a lot of coffee to get a M41 (I chickened out of sacrificing something more meaty) but i don't see it happening any time soon :( They are first doing the brittish tree, followed by german TDs and are working on higher tier TDs/SPGs for all as well so maybe once all that is done we should ask for tier 6 lights for other nations ;)

M41 is highly likely to appear as a T6 scout some day in the future.. I'm sure it will happen.

*We need the developers asking if they the M41 in the US tech tree to do, as tier 6 scout or as replacement for the T20!

My only worry about the M41 is that they horribly nerf it in some way. I think a lot of people want to think of it as a slightly faster Chaffee with a 90mm but it might turn out differently. It could end up really sluggish or they might make the 90mm horribly inaccurate while on the move.
My hope is to see it at T6 with 2 setups.
One being the stock turret with a sligthly improved 76 from the Chaffee's, or possibly the same gun. Have it be quick and responsive like the chaffe but with a higger top speed.
The other being a more sluggish setup with the second turret and a 90mm.
I dont mind if it's T7 though since where it's T6 or T7 it's going to get pretty much the same MM. Maybe if it's T7 they won't nerf the 90mm.

72kmh, 90mm gun and a low profile... even with 160 penetration it'd be better than AMX 13 90, personally I wouldn't drive a light tank with tier 8.5 matchmaking.
T20 is less agile than E8, if it wasn't it would be OP given it's extra speed and the 90mm gun, which means to balance M41 it would have to count as a tier 8 tank and it still wouldn't be as maneuverable as Chaffee to balance the extra speed... who still wants it?

At least we would get rid of the "end of line" penalty for the M24 this way

It was supposed to replace the Chaffe(making it a good tier VI successor), it would also fit WoT's timespan as it was first produced in 1951.

I think the M41 should be as mobile as the M24, but with more Topspeed (60 - 70 km/h). It should also have a 90mm Gun with the same Accuracybehaviour as the current M24 76mm Gun has. All these advantages should be balanced be a low-HP amount and a mainly unfair MM.
That, because i prefer to fight with an excellent tank againt very difficult targets instead of driving an average tank against "easy-to-handle"-targets.
So in my eyes M24-mobility and gun-behaviour are a must-have in order to make shure this tank is phun.^^

That makes the tank head and shoulders better than AMX-13-90 meaning that she'll get tier 9 med MM
