T25 AT is much more maneuverable and has a bigger gun. It's maneuverability more than makes up for the lack of a turret! T25 AT is one of the tanks I have had the most fun in, it's a keeper!

Lol, the poll is pretty unanimous :Smile_great:

There is a reason for that however, the 25/2 is by far the worst td of its tier. Enginewise its underpowered, low acceleration and low maneuverability. Armor is pretty much nonexistant(wich would be ok if it had something to make up for it, like speed..)and its gun is to weak, and extremely random when it comes to penetration. Bad camo aswell.

The t25AT on the otherhand, its fast and maneuverable and a good gun. Not much armor, but what it does have actually works from time to time. Good camo, plut its a much smaller target then the /2.

I did both, and in my opinion the /2 has no redeeming factors.

Played both (T 25 AT on a friend's account) and it is simply far superior in every way. Viewed as a stepping stone to the T28Prot the 25/2 is a necessary evil but it's scarcely enjoyable....the T 25 is both effective and fun.

I vote for the T25 AT its just so much better in every way apart form the lack of a turret.

IF you want the T30 you will need to use the T25/2 but if you only care for the T95 then go with the T25 AT.

Hope this post is to to late since its 2 days after.

Haven't played T25/2, but my T25 AT has the gun of a heavy tank, mobility of a medium and the armor of a light tank. Based on comments above 25/2 only has the last one.

I played the T25/2 only and I liked it a lot. It's not a bad tank, it's just different.
These are my stats, just before selling it:
played: 152; kill: 221; avg xp: 706; k/d ratio: 3.2; kill per match: 1.5; dam ratio: 2.1; victory: 67%; survive: 55%; hit: 77%

However it is not a TD, it's much more a medium tank, and it fits this role nicely. It's a slower, tougher hellcat, it's very different from normal TDs. Therefore, if you don't like the medium style of play go on with the T25 AT.

Oh, man! This one is easy! . . even without playing t25/2 B)
T25AT doesn't even need turret because its distinctive maneuverability.
Better armor as well.
Main reason is better and bigger gun!
Definitely a keeper, even a decent money maker if played well. (with regular account)

my stats: battles 324, wins 203 [62.7 %], accuracy 80.5%, avarage kills 1.37, avarage damage 1 296, avarage exp 479, damage ratio 1.9

last 100 battles: wins 66, accuracy 84.8, avarage kills 1.66, avarage damage 1542, avarage exp 520

of course, mastery badge: ace tanker! Not bragging, just showing you how fun and mighty this one can get!  :Smile-izmena:

If you like the T25/2, you'll love the T25 AT. It is more of a medium tank than the /2 will ever be :P

For a while it even soothed my T23 urges... But now I yearn for the T23 again :(

WOW - this poll is really exiting - I still have no clue who will win this  :Smile_harp:    :Smile-hiding:

I have both and while the T25/2 isn't THAT bad, I also prefer the T25 AT in terms of speed and firepower.

Well, I don't know why but I don't like the TDs without turret at all. I just can't play them. I like the mobility (yep, even in the T28p!) and without a turret I feel that something is missing.. :(

It depends if you want to buy and keep that tank or grind through to tier 9. Overall T25 AT is better tank in almost every term. Better gun selection, mobility and  performance. IMHO T25/2 isn't worth keeping. If you're looking for mobile turreted TD Hellcat is still much better. The only reason I'm grinding through T25/2 is T28 Prot. and T30. But ~100k of exp in Tier 8-10 battles with 90mm T15E2 is sometimes frustrating.

Don't get me wrong. T25/2 is not bad tank. But thats not Hellcat of 7 tier. It's more like obstacle in your way to T28 Prot.

What he said. BUT also T25/2 is just a bigger M18 Hellcat. It has the same gun (10mm more penantration) T25/2 Sucks big time.
And BTW follow the T95 line. Its way better than a t30 anyway.( i had them both so i can say this)

i like the t25/2, its decent at least for me (825 average xp with it, 1.7/1 kill ratio , 1500 dmg / battle average) . many ppl say that the gun isnt good enough and that u wont penetrate a lot of things .... ok .... true .... but u are a turreted td going 50+ km/h ...reposition and dont use the normal td camping tactic , if u learn how to do that things will change.

I've been away for a while and recently returned to WoT.  I've got the T-25 AT, but the T-25/2 option wasn't there last time played!  I can say that my feelings on the T-25 AT are mixed.  It is very fast, manouverable and low profile.  Gun is not as good as I rememebr it, with long range sniping difficult due to poor accuracy (for a TD I expect the gun to be the centre piece).  It has little to no armour to speak of against anything tier 5 up and that is probably my biggest frustration.  The accuracy issues lead you to have to get closer and that exposes your big weakness of poor armour.

As I've not played the T-25/2 I can't compare so have not voted.  What I would say, is I've not seen that many in games, leading me to suspect they're not popular.  And that probably tells you all you need to know about a tank.

I voted for the 25/2, even though it has a weaker gun the added mobility and turning turret make it more to my playstyle than the 25.

The T25 AT is much harder to kill than the T25/2

T25/2 is very, very, very good, easy best tier 7 TD, and also equal.better as most tier 7 medium`s

its just some weird medium/TD hybrid, for some perhaps hard to use, but if you know what you do, this tank is just amazing

ps: had some awefull losing streak in the end, so stats are not as good as the where (3x top tier afk in a row, gg) but still 71% winratio :)

ps ps: no gold stuff used, i had the engine and guns alrdy researched from T25, so all i had to do was get tracks, and mount everything :)
