You have not yet grasped anything in this game. And certainly not the Chaffee. With 600 games and 200 kills going for an end of the line tank wasn't a good move either. The fact that you manage to make only 3k credits in a game is confirming that. It's really difficult to make that little.
Although it is indeed not meant to be a money maker.
But in short, first learn the game a bit, then make demands.

End of line lights deserve a much better mm value then we have been given as has rightly been said now theres teir 6 and 7 lights for the french
Agreed the chaffee is nothing to be ignored and most certainly do not underestimate it especialy if you have a driver that knows just how to use it .. but we have weak armour for one thing..

no, hes right. it's all the same with my T-50-2. 70% of the time you get tier7 max. but other than RustyGalloway im quite happy with that, since the higher the tier, the better they aim (at least some)
also T-50-2 (and probably also chaffee) have bigger problems now with T110 (no trolling at all) and IS4 (where did you exactly say it is able to penetrate this tank in T-50-2?), not to mention the new (at least i think it is) Tier8 Maus called KV-4.
in t-50-2 i have no problem to come out with 30-40k credits per battle with premium (and this was a tier7 battle where i've shot 3 times, hitting an M3 Lee twice + one miss, the credits all came from the constant scouting of 'not-able-to-hit-you' enemies.
repair of t-50-2 is ~10k, so they are actually very comparable (at least in credit making issues)

For me Chaffee is a small money maker, repairs cost 10k but i always earn more credits. (maybe because i'm premium)

I didnt earn lot of xp in this game but when you do good scout you'll earn lot of credits with Chaffee. I often earn 40 or 30k.

Premium is the difference. If you make 30k you have 20k effectively. If your vehicle is destroyed you pay around 11k, plus ammo, say 1k and consumables, say 3k (I don't use oil).
Now you profite is a mere 5k, and 20k is pretty tough to achieve imo, only half of my chaffee games have arty and those that do have 1 grille or something, so your primary "income source" is your gun.
This is the best chaffee game I had so far, and i am merely making 22k with a standard account:

If your not running premium do not expect to make money with your chaffee. I pretty much go into games knowing I will loose credits. If you take any damage your going to break even most of the time, and if your like me and use consumables, then you would have to do a lot of damage and get a few kills to break even. Which isn't impossible but it can be rough when your in those T9/10 games.
Sometimes you'll have really awesome games where you make a profit, but those are rare for me at least.
I use my M8A1 and my M7 Medium as credit farmers.

At the very least you should be able to go even unless your team fails miserably. Doesn't seem right that you basically need premium to get any creds on this tank, given the time it takes to acquire, and also the fact that it's a dedicated scout.
