I just want to launch the idea and see a reasonable debate about a premium tank that would win gold. I don't know if it would be practical for the game developers, but I would be thrilled to have such a tank. Probably it would have to cost insane amounts of money. Or not. I think the developers of the game should take this possibility into account.

What about earning gold when you get great achievments in battle? Or when you have an x number of battles with one type of tank. Or to convert tank crew exp in gold.

No matter the means, I think earning gold in the game would make things much more interesting and enjoyable.

If you really want to earn gold without paying for it, there are competitions that you can participate in for a chance of winning gold.

join or start a clan and get on the clan map, that pays you gold.

WG are never gonna make a tank that pays you in gold.

CW needs to come out of BETA. I mean if WoT is good enough to be "live" how bad must CW be to still be considered BETA.

CW also needs a different reward mechanism. For a quick idea; make provinces pay in silver (different from gold that is bought for RL cash) and anything bought with silver can only be used in CW.

Everyone wants an easy way to get gold for nothing and, sorry sunshine, it ain't gonna happen.

WG charge you real money for gold, it's where they make their profit to keep this game running and, if you listen to all the nay-sayers, keep themselves in Ferraris, yachts and vodka.

The only way to get free gold that is allowed by WG is through various PC gaming magazine / website promotions and the occasional gold bone that WG throw our way from their own website / forum. But they see those as things as money well spent because:

• It's good world wide publicity
  
• It tempts us into buying even more gold

So no golden goose tanks will ever be created.

Or to be able to buy another premium tank - that I wouldn't buy otherwise. For example, I have type now. But I am definately not willing to buy another premium tank that doesn't do, on the whole, anything else than type.

My whole point is that it would be much more interesting to play the game.

I think one of the best way to get "cheap gold" is to buy box versions of WOT. If you can find offers like 3 for 15£ , it gives quite a nice boost to your account. 3 boxes means 1 micromaus, 3 tanks slots, 3 weeks of premium, 150K silver and 6700 gold (if you already had a micromaus, add 350 on top of that).

These offers are scarce now though
