We made two pages in our game guide to explain to newcomers how to train a crew and manage with all the skills and perks available.

And where are skills and perks numbers ? These informations we can alerady read in game. You did not say nothing new. This is basic guide just for new players.

For example:
1) The Sixth Sense perk: "This perk allows the Commander to identify whether the vehicle is detected by the enemy. Sixth Sense comes into effect after it reaches 100%."
When you do not say that commander identify detection after 3 seconds, whole this sentence is useless.

2) The Preventative Maintenance perk: "The perk reduces the chance of engine fire by preventing gas or oil leakage in the engine compartment. The perk comes into effect after it reaches 100%."
And where is the percentage of the chance ? Is it 1%, 50% or 80% reduction  ?

You forgotten the main informations.

Pictures in the "Crew training and qualifications" guide display gold cost WITH special offer 50% reduction (i.e. 100 gold, though first picture is correct). That could be misleading to people when they see that normal rate is double of that.

I sure hope what I said is clear. :o

Sixth sense is useful in indicating we have been spotted. But seeing as the light bulb disappears after being activated, it would be great to see an indication that we have once again disappeared from enemy radar with another symbol.

Neither T-34 nor T-34-85 is not the same type as Premium M3 Stuart like it says in the text:

Yes, we need the  numbers. There is no reason to hide them. It's hard to optimize without hard data.

You can't really call it a guide without actually revealing info that is not already stated ingame.

26.08.2011 vs 10.5.2012 Jet lag must have been vicious. Also not a good guide either IMHO.

These are bad and incomplete descriptions. E. g.: Is it true that Eagle Eye and Designated Targetdon't work in SPG mode? (Wiki says that.)

Controlled impact:

Recommended for: Heavies & Mediums with high frontal armor values

Wait, what? Armour value has any relation to the ramming damage? So far the only vehicle I have it on is my beloved E50 because I always thought that speed + mass affect the ramming damage and it is amplified with "controlled" impact skill.

I would like to know if armour is relevant in ramming damage, if not, then please edit or remove the misleading description.

it is, if u have thick front armor u recive less damage (and other guy more), can be seen when ramming a stationary lowe and KV5, KV5 has way more (front) armor, and both have equal weight, so if some1 hits both vehicles @ the same speed, the KV5 will take less damage (and the guy ramming will take more damage), thats why ramming a MAUS is so stupid, its 200 zillion meters of armor make it almost immuun to ramming

or atleast: i believe it was this way, (long, long time ago, i searched at the forum about ramming, and i though it was speed+weight=damage and that amount of damage is divived between the 2 tanks based on weigth and armor values (or something like that)

I want to test it now. For the best contrast I belive an AMX M4 (53 ton, 90mm front armour) and T110E5 (around 53 ton, 254mm front armour) to be rammed by my ramming machine E50. That should give us a good idea if armour is a factor and if it is, how much it matters.

Any volunteers?

More like fail guide. All you did was reiterate what the game says for these perks. You make no mention of actual percent values or delays associated with some of these skills and perks (e.g., 4 second delay for Eagle Eye, 3 second delay for Sixth Sense)

This is an actually full guide. I suggest people use this one instead: http://wiki.worldoft....eu/Crew#Skills

An error:
"If a crew member was in a non-premium vehicle and he is trained to another premium vehicle the same type (a Tiger tankee operating in a Löwe), he receives 100% of his experience points;"
should be
"If a crew member was in a premium vehicle and he is trained to another non-premium vehicle the same type (a Tiger tankee operating in a Löwe), he receives 100% of his experience points;"
- in the first case (the one in the actual guide), the discription does not match the example.

That's not a guide, that's a list of ingame descriptions. Remarkably useless.
A link to the wiki page (see above) would have done a much better job.

So... basically copy & paste from WoT Wiki page without concrete % numbers... Not much use for this unless you don't know where link to WoT Wiki is. I hoped it would be a bit more detailed and in depth description....

An web based crew & tank skill/perk/consumables/equipment calculator with concrete bonus gain numbers would be great, but I guess that's too much to hope for or ask.

Nah guys the tricky part is too test them you see that they dont worth using them and remove the skill and put a new one :) and in 1 year you have a perfect trained crew :) becouse you just imagine what they do after description but lot's of them they dont deserve to lose time to put them.
Ex:That preventive fire.... does what? how much does it help? and other skills...

Not to mention that the % indicator in the progress is completely useless. It goes up from 0 to 70% in about 10-15 matches, then 60 games later it's still just 80%...

At this rate I get my first 100% perks in about 2 months. Good thing to not know if it's even worth the time...
