Too bad you can't customise the WG version as much as the old fanmade.

When will we be allowed to change color of the markers and damage animation?

Colouring the Enemy health bars Green was a simple but big mistake. However, it's good this feature has been added for people uncomfortable with installing mods. Just needs a little more work to match OTM.

Currently using XVM with it's OTM (Over Target Markers) feature becuase it's superior.

I find it funny how many people in game still tells you "hit him, he`s got 10% hp". I understand not everyone was capable of instaling OTM or XVM before, but now with markers customisable in game they still use procents (%) and not nominal value (230 hp)...

The older version in 7.1 was a lot better, which showed the details on mouseover. If possible, add another setting for mouseover (with both tank name and player name displayed at the same time).

How about you fix this and add the option to have the player name visible as well as the tank name. Also recolouring the damage you deal to the health bar (the bit of the line as well as the colour of the damage value) to something other than white would let you know how much you actually dealt. Would improve this so far shabby attempt to copy a mod.

It's becaused you used to the red ones with the OTM. I recently started to play (i'm only using a crosshair mod) and the green HP bar for enemire are completely fine.

Sadly its true, but I don't think this front page Article will help with that, there is so many people who just come into game, shoots and don't even think about what they do and what should they do.

On the other hand everybody, who knows something about WoT already have OTM, because this official crap may looks pretty, but its not even close to be as good as OTM.

XVM is better solution. Example is here - http://www.youtube.c...h?v=huQTyUNbdi8

Much, much bigger customization.

The guide is just to help players understand they can customise the default UI without having to install add-ons.  Whilst this might be obvious to veteran players remember that not everyone has the same knowledge.

If you want a more personalized UI then you can always install additional add-ons from a site like Curse to make your target markers even more specific/personal.

I'm still using OverTargetMarkers. I like that they implemented a similar system in the game. But, OTM is just much more versatile and I like the opacity settings. The current game markers or way too bold and bright, and in the way (height of the health bar) for me.

If WoT would be updated with the customizability of OTM (see its editing program) than it would be top notch. Till then, OTM all day err day. B)

Can't you make a section for guides and for new players etc?
Its quite funny to see this for a player who player who plays the game for a while

anyway I don't use mods for wot because I am lazy and have a bad internet reinstalling everything every patch... pfff

what I would like to see is a more extended version are one that changes when you do clan wars and tank companies in those 2 you need different information than the chilling (boring) randoms

for example: in randoms its usefull to see the name of the tank while in the others you need to know the name, I now use the alt key to change between them. an easier solution is ofcourse to extend it and make both visual at the same time

green enemy health bars was already a complain in the test servers from me and others but as usual no response

PS: an extention of the signs for scouts/heavies etc would be usefull there is a big diffrence between a tier 4 heavy frenchie and a blody tier 10 heavy and a tier 4/5 scout or the other light tanks on you minimap

or and that is something I already talk a long while about is a minimap with more info when you press alt or some other key just the name of the tank would be GREAT

why not add the damage indicator for default marker?
or at least return it to pre-7.4 state, where it was possible to hit alt right after a hit and still see the damage done
