Did anyone actually get this?

I have all medals and achievements (don't ask. It's silly. I know) in the game except this one. When hunting them my goal has always been to play fair. No set-ups with clan members serving me easy kills or whatever you can think of. It just didn't feel like the right way to get the medals. But then is the Survivor achievement. It seems impossible to get. After five survived battles the probability to survive the next is already down to less than 2% (if I'm not mistaken).

Factors that stop you from getting this achievement other than out of pure luck is:

- Team-killers.
- Griefers who give out your position to the enemy team when you're the last one left on your team.
- Frag-horny enemy players who just can't resist the urge of scouring the whole map for you, just to get the non-existing "kill all"-bonus.

So.. Did anyone ever get this achievement? Any thoughts on it? Does it need "fixing"?

there was a contest some time ago, where it was all about winning medals
the winner used a loop-hole and got all accumulative medals in 5 matches (except reaper):
invincible, master gunner, sharpshooter, surviver
his tactics was obviously hide someplace, shoot one shell at the enemy and do nothing the rest of the match
it was a sucky playstyle, but he didn't break the rules, so it was legit

Once I was envited to a platton that has a guy with 4 or 5 survivors medal.

Big mistake, the guy was a big pussy and he had a special sense to avoid enemy and avoid any fight, of course you couldn't expect any help from him.

I personally think that the number of required battles should be lowered. Cuz surviving 5 battles with no damage seems to be a little hardcore.

My best streak was 4, next battle I got one shotted by arty.

That is not non-existing kill all bonus, but if enemy team did more dmg to your team all of them earn more xp.   Cap is only 100xp

I play too aggressively to stay alive for two battles in a row... So no survivor for me.

The medal should be removed completely. Rewarding a player for hiding and not getting killed is bad.
Why not a medal for "kill at least 10 tanks before dying" of course, you can kill 3 tanks, survive, kill 5 tanks, survive, kill 3 tanks, die, and you get medal for helping the team.

i was hunting for that medal.

i was laying leopard and trying to hide run and so on.

after so many attempts i had 19 survived battles i was playing my 20 battle and everyone died and rest of a team was looking for me ( T8 and T7 tanks) so they kill me and guest what i died and didnt get the medal. after that i stop trying to get that medal it is to hard to win it because to many re-ta-rd-s in game that they are not interested to play and learn something from this game the important thing is kill kill kill .

When you see it says five, that doesn't mean he has got that ribbon five times it means he has gone five battles without any damage which is the minimum.
On my old account I had six battles, but that was in the micromaus, a few peeps in my clan, FILO have that ribbon probably not from the micromaus either, or from hiding!
Blimey didn't even know there was a medal for surviving 20 battles.

That one is invincible, not survivor. Survivor is surviving 20 battles in a row, and it indeed seems hard.
As for invincible, I managed it once in my SU-85. I realized my last 4 games were won without a single hit taken, so I played for it in the fifth, my platoon-mate being kind enough to take hits in my stead. So it can happen with a little luck, even if I'm not really a big "hide and shoot" playstyle fan, and usually prefer playing aggressively with meds.

Aye, same here.  I care more about winning then playing a loop hole to win THAT medal.


My survival rate is 18%.

Well i didnt look for getting this medal but if you really want it so bad you can play with TD'S and you can get it but you have to be verry carefull so enemy cant hit you.Some friends got this medal with Stug or Hetzer so you dont need to play high TD'S cuz they are more expensive to repair , ammo.And if you choose to play with those you must buy camouflage with gold/credits and camouflage net to be less detected almost invisible and if you have 100% crew just take for all the crew the camouflage skill so you can be a ghost for the enemy. But carefully if you shoot they can spot you and you can be hit so you wont get the survivor medal.And after a shot you better move from the place you shoted to a safe place behind a rock , mountain , hill or a house.Good luck for getting this Survivor Medal.

Thanks for all the replies folks. It's good to see that I'm not the only one who thinks surviving 20 battles in a row seems a little hard. :D So far I've managed to survive seven battles before dying. Not sure I'll ever get that ribbon.. :/

I sometimes think about it, when the battle is almost won and Im not hit yet. I could stay back and let the rest of the team get the final kill. But honestly, when I get the oppertunity to shoot at the enemy I will take it. Even if it means that I might get shot at and therefore dont get a silly medal.

Edit: Looks like I mixed up the surviver and invincible medals. Imo, if u dont statpad the survivor medal is rather impossible to achieve. Not getting blown up in 20 battles is a lot. tbh, I didnt even knew that this medal existed.

I have this medal on my JT, I was suprised, cuz I really didn't want to archive it, played like always.

Got this ribbon before 7.3 in my KV, didn't even know it existed was suprised when I saw it after the battle. Me and two clan members who messing about in our KV's, we managed to win 19 battles in a row and lose 1 and I survived all of them without relising I had.

21st game I got 1 shotted by an arty to end the streak.

I saw a guy with really low winrate and mainly tier 5-6 german tanks with 6 Survivors.

No joke.

Guy must just camp at the back, every game.

Its no wonder that random looks like some bad experiment with drugs when u dont know simple things like what is invincible medal, and what is survivor medal.

It think the burda medal is harder to get nowadays. I hardly see more then 3 arty in the game.

Survivor medal is a badge of shame for me.
