I think the E75 is still competitive, it isn't the beast of a tank that it once was because of the amount of gold flying around. The Tiger2 and the VK4502A are both obsolete, perhaps the 2 worst heavies at tier 8 in the game. No idea about the VK4502B, not played it yet, but again its main strength was its armour, so  i expect it will be suffering with all the gold flying around.

E75 is still quite ok, I think. Result below from around month ago, Lakeville city-side. Luckily had some TD's backing me up after around third of our team got wiped out early (not that many kills though, since they finished most).

As long as you remember you are not invincible, E75 can do pretty well. Too bad I tend to forget it myself sometimes. :harp: Should probably play it more often.

This score happends about 1/1000 battles played when top tier, no arta and all tomato players.

Otherwise you get huge front lower plate penned and fail sidescrapping pens(no matter the angle) cause it's not Rashan tonk.....

Well certainly not every match is like that, but those were not tomatos either (target average around WN1300-1400, some got purple last 1k). It was pretty tight, and in the end we had 2 vs 2 that we luckily managed to clear.

But it's still solid tank on most matches as well. It's mobile enough, sidescraping works rather well, and even the LFP can take some if you angle it right. Fire rate could be slightly better (13s, come on), but it's not total crap either. All in all, E75 is everything I expected Tiger 2 to be. :justwait:

dont you think 3000dmg to 3 marks is too few for such a "great" (in past time) heavy tank? Reload was made longer and thats a pity, top engine removed, thats even worse and turning speed of hull reduced.  Shited almoust to death. i got most battles not great number of shots, just1500 dmg because tank is too slow to run where enemy is or too slow to reload and do 2xdmg to the same enemy. Some games happened with over 6000dmg and 6000 blocked if happened to get 3 things in same game-1. hide lower plate, 2. team dies and 3. enemy  is not clever enough to kill e75 while long reload.

One big problem with this tank are the binocular-balls on the turret-sides, which only have 80mm.

Can be penetrated by almost all tanks down to tier 4. Frontally. With standard ammo.

As for most players I worked op to the Tiger I. I hated it and started grinding the Russian line. Resulting in first an ST-1 and then the obj.705. I love them all except the KV1S, the IS-M I liked so much that I still have it. I am no good player (regarding controlling the tank and reaction time)  but I feel at home in those Russians and do well enough. I have good crews with some skills too. But then I heard in many youtube vids that the E75 was "the" tank. So up to the Tiger II. And since I now had more HT experience  I started to like the Tiger I.

Up to the Tiger II. OMG what a piece of crap, the longer I played it, the more I disliked it. Then finally the mighty E75. What a disaster. Compared to my Russians this tank  (while playing) seems to have paper armor.  I try to sidescrape as good as possible. Angle my tank, hide the bottom front etc.   But I must be doing something wrong because I lose hitpoints faster as an unarmored light tank, Hull down in my ST-1 or Obj.705 is fun. The first try in the E75 was a one way ticket to the garage. I have the better suspension unlocked and now go towards the turret but getting the top configuration will be a frustrating long journey. I have installed a modpack from the official mod hub that shows the penetrations etc after the game. Most penetration turns out to be on the hull and not the stock turret.

Is it me or is the E75 just a very hard to master tank?

Is sidescraping so critical that a few degrees to much or to less is penetration ?

Or are all those vids over the E75 from a time not everyone spammed APCR ?

Or is the E75 only so good against tear 7 and 8, and using AP from a time that gold amo costed gold and almost no-one used it. ?

Game like that happen onec in awhile even in the most crappiest tank...just when all cards lay down perfectly.  But looksl ike all the old time tanks kinda getting left behind as every new nation is more superior than oldtimers. Gonna grind again that line, but im sure it will be a bit worse than first time i did as it feels like that playing old lines once again.... and as mentioned, premium ammo spam is the life of this game these days. Most enemies you meet even at tier 1 are using full premium ammo loadout. No matter what tank i play  - damage recorded will be 90% prem ammo every second game. So E-75 was a angle beast, not its just another heavy with a lucky outcome once in a while.

Just an update. The E75 deserves it.

A week ago I wanted to sell it, but decided to play it one last time. I probably have become a bit better in keeping tanks alive because I survived and ended 3rd place on XP (if I remember well).  It turned out the tank soaked up an insane amount of damage.  A few dozen games later I did 4800 damage in Paris. Not every game was super (killed a few times by flanking lights but most times at the end when I was the last tank surviving, what happened a lot by the way, it is a bunker on tracks) but most were a lot better as before. I really love the gun (after a few months of mostly Russian guns) Even without using "special" amo it pens almost everything and it is nice to have a gun that hits the spot you aim instead of missing a complete tank at close distance like my IS-3A does. Sidescraping now goes like a boss and keeping it angled it bounced twice a FV4005 shell

I have no clue what I did wrong before or if they buffed it, but I now really really like this tank.
