there isnt much left for me to quit playing world of tanks.

ive been playing this game for a long time by now and i have all the tanks a really wanted, now im just trying things out more or less. but basically i want to have FUN.
in order to have fun i need to win...not always but sometimes would be nice^^.

however sometimes you just dont have a chance...when you see 12 anks of you team going on one side and the rest of you team is artillery and you , i at least try to defend the other side...i write that i will need help and we will propapbly lose if the team noobrushes  without brains over one side...
this is what almost always happens:
-team ignores me
-team is being killed one after another on one side
-team starts to be more defense and is being targeted by arty by now
-aleady dead teammambers start to flame and spam the chat in some east european language (if you dare to write to them they should shut up all hell breaks lose)
- and at least at this moment im dead (doesnt matter if im top tier or not)

im really becoming desperate...maybe i should just follow the giant pile of nobrainers in my team and block them if they are exposed to fire...like they do to me sometimes.
or should i just troll and spam the chat in german so that they cant understand me either?

i also like teams when i lead an assault on one side and everybody follows me and somebody else writes that he will need help...NO ONE TURNS AROUND! and in the end me, who is right in fron on my side, turns back to at least try to help.

It's also funny that when you lead an assault and people follow, they usually step on the brakes halfway through moving up and you usually notice that by the time it's a tad too late.

You need new game modes and clan matches, because the gameplay is Not going to change. 99.99% of the people are just plain stupid and there's millions upon millions of hours of research and papers on why people act like a herd so much and follow blindly and they all conclude; it will not change. Deal with it or find other ways to entertain yourself.

Me? I had optimal win ratios and other awesome stuff during beta, but right now? I'm just hanging around games for fun most of the time. I don't care anymore that everyone rushes all over the places, or camps until they start to rust away. I move forward, do what I want, if nobody follows, then so be it, better luck next game. And yes that often means I'm in those important places, everyone else is too blind to notice. Can't care anymore, but i'll refuse to follow the mindless masses.

3 man Platoon of decent players.

Guaranteed 75-80% win rate.

i dont play alone... but even 3 man cant do what lets say 7 are supposed to do.

and you also still cant control the rest of your team... you can say, ok lets do that side and all will follow you... you can split up but why bother driving in a platoon then...

Because then you know each flank is covered by an able person with some cannon fodder around him. It works for us.

Well, at least that won't happen until they introduce something like that.

I know what u mean m8, I feel exactly the same way, this piece of sh*t became too random, it became more a gambling game than an arcade shooter...
And the number of dead brain monkeys is increasing fast (you know that the amount of cleverness on the earth is steady, but the population is constantly increasing).
Personally, if I would rate the frustration / fun ratio over time, starting with the game release, it was constantly increase (like from 0.3 -0.4 one year ago to 7-8 these days)...
I've recently re-installed the XVM (I was just curios why sometimes I lose 7-8 games in row), and a week ago guess what : first game 10% win chance, second game 18% win chance, third game 15% win chance (in every one I was almost at the bottom of the list). I suppose you can guess the outcome... so I've turned on my TV set...

Me and two mates won a battle in which XVM gave us 5% chance.

It was close, but it was a great game :)

3 green ones, the rest red, against 8 purple players and the rest green and yellow.

Agreed, my forward progress in this game has suddenly hit a brick wall, the only stat still improving is accuracy. In my last 12 battles I've been bottom tier for 11, lost 9 (8 of those by 4-15 or less!) and scored just 3 kills. The number of idiots playing seems to have sky-rocketed in the last month, anyone got any theories?

It's already introduced... Ever played a full tier9-10 platoon, winning left and right - until suddenly most of your shots start to bounce even on tier5s, zero dmg pen, miss completely, obscene module damage, fires, resulting in a long series of losses? :Smile_veryhappy:

The long the game goes on, the more players get into higher tiers. Not everyone will be getting there with high win ratio's and not all players are armchair generals.

Matchmaking doesn't use player skill and there is no current plans to include that i'm afraid.  As your matches and stats increase, you need to win/lose by much more matches to affect things. I'm at a whopping 204 games played at and my win ratio can rise or drop by 2 % daily.  When I get to 2000 games It would take a week or longer to get the same kinda of movement.

Don't let the stats run the game for you.

When I quit WoT last November. Wy win ratio was 47%. I quit because the game became much too frustrating, and a long series of epic losing streaks made me hate the game.

I returned to the game about 6 weeks ago, and my win ratio started to creep back up. Matches lost went from 51% to 49%, and matches won went up to 48%. Until  a week ago I was about 10 wins from 49% win ratio. Since then it's been defeat after defeat after defeat, and suddenly every game I am dumped in matches where I am bottom of the food chain and unable to do anything apart from be a free kill for some high-tier monster.

Now I am so bloody desperate to just win a game that I am taking stiupid risks which result in quick deaths and even more frustration.

That's the secret behind the "rigged MM".

Keep calm, keep your wits, and improve your gameplay. It's just great fun to see yourself becoming better.
