Copy the /audio and /script folders from /res in WoT folder

Copy these files into 8.1 mod folder and then place the mod files in same folder and overwrite, you now should have every sound working plus the new engine sounds

Sadly the gun sounds no longer work, they just crash to desktop before you can even login.

you have to copy the audio file and scripts file from the res folder and paste them to the res_mod\0.8.1\.
then copy the files from the res_mod file from the rar (it says 0.8-it does not matter, and put them in the same file as above.
overwrite as needed and then copy the file from the res file from the rar and paste it again to the res_mod\0.8.1\.
Thats it. This way you leave the original files untouched and the mod works just fine. Hope i helped

Hi Gnomefather,
love the sounds....but i have a problem, dont know if any one else has...basically all work...all engines sounds sound great, all different for different tanks of the the different nations...yea i know what the hell you moaning at then lol!! Well basically if am driving my German tank it sounds awesome (may add, as do all other nation tanks i drive), and so do the other nations around me bar the German ones...the sound is not right for their tanks, always some annoying buzz sound or tiss tiss sound from them, to the point they sound hellish and really awful! If i take out the 0.3.3 German XML out of scripts they sound fine...put it back in, the annoying sound is there from neighbouring German tanks, all the while my own panzer sounds magic!! Don't matter what tank nation i drive, if new German Engine XML is in scripts, the German other tanks on my side or opposing side, sound really messed up. Av put the old german XML from 0.31 version in and everything hunky dory again...so wondering if anyone else having same prob??? Defo the new German XML file causing prob for me! Hope this makes sense in what am on about!! P.s using your weapons 1.12 mod too with no problems love it...keep up the good work, its no big drama just thought i would let you know.

Kind regards JacoBiTe

Could you give me a YouTube video of the issue? Not sure if it will do much.

I have a somewhat similar "problem" whenever i am near a ferdinard or a vk4502A and B (or any other tank that has the same engine as those). When those tanks are near their engine sound muffles almost everything else, what i m trying to say is that they sound too loud but only those tanks that share the same engine. I can provide replays if you want. I dont really mind how loud they sound except that i cant hear my own tank when they are near. All and all very good job mate. And a question: When installing this mode I overwrited the previous copied audio file ( i have placed a copy of the original in the mod file) with your previous engine sounds. Should i have made a "fresh" install of the mod (erase the audio file from the mod file and copy again the original and all files needed)?

Yea, this problem, when two tank sounds mixes and it becomes UNBRABLE to listen, cause your ears are bleeding, your hands are shaking, but you're still shooting!!! :D

But seriously, fix this, our Father, and we will praise you!

After some thought could you make the level of the tanks we are driving exactly as loud as the level of ferdinards engine and every other tanks engine sound level to the level our tanks are at the moment?
After that i believe it would be perfect.
Here is a link from my last match with lowe. There is a vk4502b that is the best example of how loud their engine sound (especially at the start all i can hear is his engine). So switch the volume levels (if it can be done) or tone down that particular engine a bit. I believe it is in some french vehicles too. Hope this helps

EDIT: Just noticed that you wont be able to hear the sounds of them on the wot replay and i cant upload it to youtube so i will do it as soon as i can.

I can only tone it down.

And the AMX 13s use the Detroit Diesel for their 2 top engines, as they are pretty much the same engine.

Also, I can't belive how you can handle that low FPS.  :Smile_ohmy:

With German Engine 0.3.3 XML: http://www.filedropp...noyingtanksound

With German Engine 0.3.1 XML: http://www.filedropp...nnoyingsoundwot
