Congrats and heats off for winning yours first match on Euro2012!

Your team became a dark horse in this match ;-)

Why I post in "gameplay" section? Simple: even if XMV shows you have 10% chances of winning screw it hard! Fight and sometimes you will be really surprised with an outcome.

Good luck in next matches, Denmark.

HEIA DANMARK via Finnish dog in Sweden!

(also, true, the referee was a total disgrace, much like the a-hole in POL-GRE last night... just the opposite, tho. Lost his whistle and card deck? FIFA > UEFA = joke)

Because the referee moved the gearbox to the front?

Yeah, the matchmaker referee sucked hard. Nevertheless the fight was intense ;-)

Dude, that bit with v.Persie's head vs Agger's boot made me LOL. I texted a friend saying, word by word:

"if that was Cristina (Ronaldo) we'd seen a red card for Agger, and a penalty. Preceded by a massive show of pain + cries by Cristina."

BUT you can not blame the referee alone. Sure he was a disgrace but nowhere near as bad as that football murderer c**t from POL-GRE.

Afellay was useless. Robben was alone. v.P was nervous. Only Dutchman who played on his usual level was v.Bommel imo. And Sneijder was awesome at times.

Nevertheless, sorry Holland, I expected you to be better. Denmark had the balls size of coconuts today. So in control, so calm. That, my babes, wins football games.

Para a frente Portugal!

(and good thread, wake me up if this gets moved to off... whatever)

For the big games (that there are JUST TWO left :0) you need to play with Huntelaar up with v.P sheriffing every ball behind him. Really now.

Ye true, so many chances or half chances and the rule is that is you keep missing those, the red team I mean opponent will kill your tank I mean score a goal...

Individual skills, we got plenty, but the team play wasn't there. Seen Robben go for own success 5 times he had better had given of the ball, that was the thing which to me was the biggest tell tale sign it wasn't going to end well.

I do have to say, the grass looked really bad and that's a disadvantage to any team which likes to play quick combination soccer ( even if the problem seemed to lay in positioning not in the speed of the ball ).

True, too. The grass was slippery like pussy in spring time.

v.P just does not go down like that.

van persie also should have gotten a red card for a foul but we can go on about it.

If your team does not play as a team then the best team collective can win. Denmark showed it tonight.

But we did have our chances aswell, but those is forgotten by people.

Of course The dutch have a more high profiled team and also likely better than ours..Can not deny that.

But it is like in boxing, Even a better boxer can get hit by a lucky punch...and lose. So happends in football.

Nothing is decided yet, but I would say the danes will get a draw at least vs portugal. We have beaten them a few times and some draws lately.
They are the team that if we had to meet a high profile team to play vs. It would be them.
