The problem here is, that ELC has 2 crew members, while batchat has 3.

That can be easily solved by getting a bit of gold for a small dime when I will transition the crew to amx12t. So my question remains, what are the good perks for batchat (up to 3 max 5 will do).

Depends on playstyle really. I am usually against BIA for most tanks, but somehow it works on batchat. The second thing you need, is better accuracy on the move for driver and gunner (smooth ride, snap shot) and sixth sense for commander (you definitely want to know when you're spotted!!!)

Third, batchat has great natural camo value and is very fragile tank, so I'd go with camo (to give you an example, with good camo skill you can drive almost to 1/3 of the field on malinovka, spot most of enemy team and not be spotted yourself)

Then, it's up to you. I'll probably train Situational Awareness, clutch braking and something.

Why not repair? well usually if you are detracked you are dead anyway if you do not repair in same second. So I prefer camo, since I like it more when I am not shot at than If I have to repair stuff.

I suppose I'll still go with this perk layout temporarily until switch to amx12t (once the goals are reached):
- Commander: Sixth Sense, Camo then start teaching Repair
- Driver: Clutch Driving, Smooth Ride, probably Repair.

Then when the shift to amx12t will happen:
- Gunner: Snap Shot, either Camo or Designated Target, Repair.

As for 4th and 5th skills which i'm not sure i'll ever reach, I suppose I could go with Commander: Recon, Firefighting. Driver: Off-road Driving, Firefighting and Gunner: Deadeye, Firefighting.

Sixth Sense is a huge priority for tanks like the bat chat which are made of papers.

Well, I'm currently training third skill. Have 6th sense and BIA as first two, currently training repairs on third skill on every crew member. First skills on the other crew members (to go with the 6th sense) are Snap Shot and Smooth Ride.

I need some help deciding my crew skills I generally scout a little bit wait for my tanks to move up, then engage the enemy tanks while waiting for the chance to kill arty I'm always trying to keep my bat moving.

Current setup:

Commander: Repair, Camo, Mentor (64%)
Gunner: Repair, Snap shoot, Camo (64%)
Driver: Repair, Smooth Ride, Off Road (64%)

Planned setup:

Commander: BIA, Sixth Sense, Camo
Gunner: BIA, Snap shoot or Dead Eye?, Camo
Driver: BIA, Smooth Ride, Off Road

Has anyone used dead eye? is it worth it?

Dead Eye is OK for 4th or 5th skill( It doesn't have that big effect). Get Snap shoot ASAP becasue it's really useful! Anyway, your planned skill setup is nice :)

this should be your planned setup. off road driving is hardy worth it, since its a light tank with wide tracks and doesn't have that much problems on soft grounds (at least not much more than any others). When you complete 3rd skill I'd go for clutch braking, but camo is way more important.

How important? well with good camo, you can drive to 1/3rd of the field on malinovka, spot whole enemy team and not get spotted yourself. Except when enemy has a m48 on their team, then I wouldn't recommend that move.

Has someone ever tested what repairs faster?

BIA + toolbox or Vents + 100% repair. I was just wondering about that :)

Vents + Repair... they're not even close. Toolbox is a placeholder or something for lower tier tanks, but it's not useful on higher tier tanks.

ok thx. Is having a toolbox equivalent to having a crew with 25% average repairs? Cause then yes... it seems like a waste of an equipment slot.

AFAIK toolbox equals 50% effective repair skill.

Is the quality of BAT Chat tankers going up???

I just wondered what you all thought.

I only play it a few times a week but have noticed the Kamikazi "I'm the OP king of the world " driver seems to be have gone.

Is it because of the insane pain of the Lorraine grind produceing better tankers?? ( Global win rate 47.2%)

Or is it such a pain getting it that it is mostly old timers that got it pre boost up to Teir 10.

Whether i imagine it or not there seems to be a better class of Bat Chat out there that is more usefull to its team with global win rate at 50.8%

A quick glance thru my replays seems to show Bat Chats killing about 2 tanks each / Match which at T10 seems about par.

Thought???

I agree, they seem to pay more attention to the "bat light", but then let's see.

Haha, nice.

And yeah, there's not a whole lot of new batchats popping up from what I've seen. Though I wouldn't say I stopped rushing and sucking balls in mine. wtb> 6th sense!

So I've finally got my Batchat yesterday... having a lot of fun in it

At the Moment I've only 2 Crewskills:

Commander: Sixth Sense, Camo 98%
Gunner: Camo, Snap Shoot 98 %
Driver: Camo, Smooth Ride 98 %

I'm thinking to retrain on this as soon as i've about 70 % on 3rd Skill:

Commander: Sixth Sense, BIA, Camo
Gunner: BIA, Snap Shoot, Camo
Driver: BIA, Smooth Ride, Camo

Do you think 70 % Camo is still good or should i wait till i've the 3rd Skill on 90%+ ?

I have the exact skills like you (just started the 3rd skills) and the same plans for 3rd skills and retrain.
A couple of hours got a good game (6181 damage and 3806 damage from spotting) for the x5, when camo counted and i had it to ~75% ( 20% commander + 100 gunner +100 driver). I hesitate to shoot at the IS-3 because thought that Jagdtiger from ~300m could spot me.
Here you go http://mwreplays.com...y/V3IG3IU3WXQ4/
From 60%+ cammo skills the bonus seems to feel consistent, so i think from there i will retrain it to BiA. Hope that WG gets then the 50% gold retrain discount :)
