Tried it in 3 different browser (IE, firefox, opera), this cheap forum previews the avatar correct, import button seems  to do something too. But whatever I try, save settings and so on, it won't set and show any given graphic (common filetypes jpg, png, gif)

This new forum is a plague, not only for the eyes.

I have the same problem! Clicking "done" button doesn't save anything.

I had the same trouble.
Make sure your av is the right size. I believe there's a limit on the size of the piccie.

I am pretty sure the format isnt a problem. tried it with my ingame logo and other stuff. Even the preview is shown correct. It just doesn't save the settings.

@Moorglademover i've just tried with your dog av and as you can see it did not work at all.

Its not a problem of the picture/graphic, its not the browser, must be serverside bug with the engine or problems with user rights managment.

We are aware of that - forum engine is changed recently and we are ironing all bugs atm.

If you look on some of our posts - we also dont all have avatars because we cant upload them :D

Misha i don't blame you personally (although you removed quite awesome avatar :P ). I blame an admin which didn't fix that since then. I quoted you to show that this bug is reported and well known to admins from a long time.

Same here - can't upload/import avatar. Size and format does not matter - have tried few random avatars from this same forum.

I have just change my avatar.
This .jpeg picture have dimensions 150x119 and size 38.6 KB

I think that maximum details for avatar are 150x150, 40 KB and .png or .jpeg, try with other types of picture formats.

Yeah I'm having the same problem. When I first tried it, it actually showed that the new avatar was uploaded, but still nothing happened and I had the old avatar. Now it just says "Failed to set a new photo". :(

Cheers for reporting this guys, it's something intermittent that's affecting only some players it seems.

We're working to get it fixed asap.

If you haven't tried it already, please try logging out of the forums and back in if you've set the forums to remember you when you visit the page.

Ok, we managed to upload our WG avatars -they must be 200x200
old 90x90 didnt worked
so..double your pics in size and try again

I really hope you got the software for free, because a forum which only supports one size of pictures in upload is a little bit 90s, don't you think? Would be nice if you at least give this info at the modules which request it (change "recommended" to "minimum size")

Perhaps there is something I'm not getting, but I tried both under and over 200x200, and also exactly 200x200, nothing works, it doesn't upload it (.png file). Still getting "Failed to set a new photo".

Works fine for me with 200x200px transparent png though it should also work with smaller images - yourgreatestfear is right.
