I got this wine bottle for free, now I am starting to think that I should open it at some point. Now I know this forum has lot wine experts also because there seems to be some expert no matter what is the case.
So wine experts tell me what to do with it?

Open it and drink a glass. If you do not like the taste, drink one glass more and that problem goes away as soon as the alcohol starts to work. From there on, have a nice evening.

What year is the wine?

If its 2009 then it's worth opening.

Spoiler

on a serious note.. 1990, 1996, 1998, 2002 and 2004 are the mega years... and 2010 seems to be nearly there

Perhaps consider giving it as a gift to someone you don't love

As long as it's not a bottle of wine you got for free when you ordered for more than 20€/25$ at a local pizza delivery...

It's cheap and alcohol is forbidden anyways, so use it to make a BBQ LIGHTS AND BURNS SHOW.

It's not worth smelling and drinking slowly, but it do go down fast. So it's pretty decent.
