i need a pz V/IV. i love this tank. im from germany and my ingame name is Elite_3. pls i need help! I NEED A PZ V/IV!

Why would you need it when it is pos? Imho it is only good for three things: hunting French lights, scouting and hurting arty.
The gun is close to useless, it hasn't got any gun depression, it turns like a whale (seriously 28 deg per sec on a medium) and it hasn't got any armour. As you can't do any damage you won't get any credits or xp with it and since it is not a regular premium tank but a gift tank you have no credit income increase. You will make more money on any other tier 6 medium. I have't got the Skoda T-25 but I beleive it is a much better tank. The only reason I keep my Pz V/IV is that it is uniqe (as it is pos most ppl have sold it) and I don't have any other German tank in which I can train medium crews.

the prem/special tank is not the only thing you need...

it was some sort of special a long time ago & apparently they said it would Never be on sale again
Myself; i wanted it as it was the only Premium Medium above Tier V when i first started playing

Also from all the games i've played i've only seen probably less than a dozen

from checking stats for the tank itself there has only been a grand-total of 2-3 on the EU servers in the last 3-4 months so they are also very rare to see (not sure if they are counted towards the Master Tanker badge)

Your stats are a bit off then. There have been 3094 Pz V/IV games in the last 2 weeks, and 6889 Pz V/IV in the last month. With a grand total of (currently) 5001 Pz V/IV's on the EU server.

The Alpha is a different story though.

Not sure why there's such a hype around it. My Pz V-IV is fun to play and fun to look at, but hopelessly ineffective in battle, it wouldn't hurt a fly

Also if WG ever implements a store/trade system for between players or something (which i believe they were planning to do) i'm sure you'll be able to get hold of one.

I ended up keeping mine locked away in the garage for the uniqueness of it. Mark you, to play well in it is no mean feat.

To begin with, the gun is of very little use in the matches it is placed in. It mounts the 7.5 l48 which is also the top tier cannon of the PzIII/IV. Even in tier V matches this gun struggles to penetrate most tanks, and thus in this tier VI tank it feels very very painful to use.

The mobility of this tank is nothing exceptional for its tier. It has the same feel as the panther to be honest, although I think the turning is somewhat worse at high speeds.

The only saving grace I feel is the sloped armour at the front. True, the turret is pathetic for a tier VI, but I find the upper glacis surprisingly bouncy at times against guns of its tier. I'm not sure if its because people are unused to seeing the tank, or they haven't learnt about the fiery monstrosity of an engine that is hidden in the lower glacis plate of virtually  every German tanks, but the Panther-level armour seems to hold up quite well.

Nonetheless, the gun is what I feel makes a tank, which is why this tends to gather dust while I grind my Tiger II and Jagdpanther. I'd like to have fun while I play, even if it's just to grind to the next tank, which is why I don't particularly recommend lusting after this one, especially since it's not for sale anyway.

hmm... lets see what do I remeber about its history over the last year.

Was 1 of the preorder packages you could get when game first got launched.

Tank is a pretty much a panther chasis whit a pz4 turret(the weak one). allso was fun to use it the first month after launch before too many got higher tier tanks. because they had a hard time damaging each other LOL.

Can't remeber where I read this but it was supposedly developed to be a scout hunter. But the plans to build it got scrapped.

During one time it was planned by WG to make it so players could buy it (gold or shop?). Anyway, got stopped when pepz owning it was pointing out that the tank had been a special one time deal at start and this could be breaking rules/legislation. Leading to pepz demanding a refund.

I think of it as a money maker. speed enough to scout, hp enough to survive alittel and premium status the make money from it. But still feels sorry when I get put as the top tank since the gun is too weak to do much and soaking up some damage is too littel use for the team. Main reason why I don't use it that much.

It is not that bad, it was best moneymaker before they introduced tier 8 heavy tanks, got about 50k profit from a good battle. This tanks has got weak cannon for its tier, nice speed but with a weak turning force it has problems intercepting other fast tanks, a hit in a turret usually means loss of a gunner or a loader. If I play it I usually follow group of meds and flank enemy since usually I got no chance to penetrate frontal armour of many tier6+ tanks.

I think it would be a good idea to make a limited sale of the tank possible. Of course I understand the guys who say "they promised us exclusivity" and so on, and basically they have their point.

On the other hand there are also people who bought this tank and hate it( enough posts prove it) and people who don't play anymore, so you could make a limited resale to at least keep an even number.

For the guys who complained to WG about exclusivity just one thing- what advantage do you gain in keeping others away from this tank?- you cannot trade the tank or anything so the exclusivity doesn't matter and reselling accounts is forbidden, so there is no advantage for you in keeping the tank away from other people.

Just make a limited sale for a few days, whoever wants it will buy it and the rest who never wanted one won't.

just put it on sale again but under a different name like the: pz.IV/V instead of pz.V/IV people who got it in pre order have there exclusivity and the few people that want thiss tank right now buy the pz.IV/V problem solved!   

(atleast I think it could be thiss simple. what do you guys think?)

Personally I'd like the V/IV to go back into the shop.  If WN were actively selling it again they'd be compelled to buff it a little or at least fix the MM it gets.   But sadly the last attempt to put the pre orders back into the shop resulted in much whining from players who wanted to keep their tank exclusive.    And as ever, those that complain the loudest get their way.
