Tiger Tank and King Tiger Tank Speed.

Not sure if 41 and 38km/h are needed but they could increase the current speeds by 5km/h, so it would be 32/33 and 34/35 I don't think it would hurt the balance at all, especially how every little spot is getting nerfed on the KT's front armor.

hold on they are making them historically accurate that means the King Tiger will be around the same height as a Jumbo Sherman :D when will this happen? It would be great since KT in game is grossly oversized compared to its real life counterpart

Since the German tanks are getting "Historically Accurate" Re-Size why shouldn't they get their Historically Accurate Speed.
The Tiger Tank could achieve a top speed of roughly 38km/h but in game it can only achieve a maximum of 30km/h.
And the King Tiger could achieve a top speed of roughly 41km/h - 42km/h (Sources Vary) where as in game it can only achieve a maximum speed of 28km/h.
Do you think the Tiger tanks should have their historical speed or do you think this would make them unbalanced?
I do know this post has been done before in September 2010 many people have voted for the speed to be buffed, but as that was 2 years ago I want to know what people think now.

My pessimistic guess is that there would be hell to pay for speed buffs at the next "rebalance". Gun nerfs; armor nerfs, Ammorack outside of the turret, you name it. Speed is nice, but there wasn't a single german tank i drove for its speed so far...
So i'd prefer the speed not to be historical.

To be honest I would like the Top speed but I would be happy if they did increase the speed just by 5km/h it probably would make a hell of a difference.

I would like to see this happen WG have been presented with a Picture showing the two together and they look roughly the same size perhaps the KT was a slight bit bigger.

Overlord has said as far as he knows it won't happen
Shame really, the speed buff or even a decrease in size to the King Tiger would help it out making it a smaller target and its weak spots smaller, I know both would probably be appreciated by the majority of King Tiger drivers out their.
And I assume the slight speed buff to the Tiger would help it out to.

Well the King Tiger's Armour is already weak as it is most shells seem to get through various places with ease such as the Lower Plate, Driver Port, MG Port, Commanders Hatch indeed they are weak spots but they have been made huge. Though if angled well you can bounce a number of shots.
The Tiger Tank doesn't have sloped armour so most shells are getting through that with ease so the Speed would help it move around and be able to get out of the way of shells a little quicker.
Really? I think the Speed helps a number of tanks such as Panzer III, Panzer III/IV, Panther etc... Sure these are Medium tanks but to be honest I personally think it would help the Tiger out a fair bit perhaps its because of my play style in it but I still think it would be a welcome buff.

Of course; i wouldn't say no to the speed buff either

Don't forget that the KT should be slightly shorter than an M4, though wider.

This also needs sorting in some way, the picture just says everything and what I noticed is the Tiger II's lower plate looks well more sloped than it is in the game.
As well as both the Tiger and King Tiger getting their historical speed making them a worthy tier 7 and 8.

On this picture the TigerII have no snow under it, while the M4 is standing on some about 15cm of depressed snow.
