Bit late again;

NA server and RU server (ENG translation) news articles were yesterday, even the SEA server released the news earlier...

WCG article.

So the cyber games will be playing a type of WoT that is not generally available to WoT players (I wonder if FIFA 12, Cross Fire and Counter-Strike Online will be using modes not generally available to players?)....

I think it's pretty astonishing, specially knowing that WoT has no support for spectators or live broadcasting of games.
Does this means that you will by then implement a spectator mod?

WoT has no support for LAN also and WoT has classified mechanics so im amazed.
Does this means that you will by then implement a LAN and declassified all mechanics?

edit:
I was wrong.
"WCG 2012 Promotional Game Titles:
WoT"
There will be just SHOWgames so WoT wont be a competetive game.

WCG 2012 is a joke.
No cs 1.6, no SC or SC2, no LoL.
It's a shame to be part of this kind of event.
CS and SC are icons of the competitive games. Without this games WCG is no loger e-sport event. It's a joke. There will be like 2k viewers total.

World of Tanks is interesting to play but I'm certain that it's not interesting to watch. No spectate mode, no top-down view and public doesn't understand the game mechanics..
I've seen that a year ago at Moscow, on Ural Steel.. There was a huge rotation among the public.

Sorry, but this game isn't quite ready yet for any kind of e-sport.

Maybe that 7vs7 setup is interesting for players but for viewers it's just way too boring sometimes. I guess the only reason why they play 7vs7 and not 15vs15 like in pubs/CWs/TCs is just because WG can't implement slots for spectators :Smile_trollface-3:
