Petition to restore Swamp, Komarin, Province

Province - It's there for low tiers and for low tiers it's a very very nice map. Unfortunately for higher tiers it is too much of a campfest and I do not want to see it ever again at tiers 5+.
Swamp + Komarin - Previously it was also pretty much a campfest due to limited paths, but with the new physics opening up some more routes they might be good enough to return. And as far as I know devs want them to return in one or two updates.

I voted for the return of all 3 maps. The new maps are mostly an utter crime and a joke. Serene coast is a crime, 40% of map is either water or a mountain, I mean WTH...
Airfield and Highway are actually ok. Highway could do with a bit of love on the A2 to D6 area. Airfield has also a largely useless area, I believe it's a landing strip, again, barely ever used except by suicidal scouts.
On the other hand, Seaport, Dragon Ridge and of course, the WIDEPARK...How do we petition the WG to fire the persons responsible for development and introduction of these?

I actually used to like Province and Swamp maps, eaven tho they easily turned to campfests but imho both of them were still fun maps to play. But komarin... i cant think anything good to say about that map, dont know why but i simply hated that map every time i played it, i think the only map that comes eaven close for me is Widepark and Murovanka.
Murovanka could actually be good map if they just removed that godforsaken magic forest and replace it with another hill or small village or something. Widepark on the another hand, its really well made map, but same time its really limited, as there really is that railway bridge and the railway crossing on the another end of the map and the one crossing in the middle, what is more or less suicide to cross as you will be hit by pretty mutch entire enemy team.

Providence - keep as is for lower tiers only. I like it now, when I get Patrol duty every game with my T82 and 4-5 kills nearly every time. For larger tiers it would need too heavy rework
Swamp - I like it, back, maybe some remodeling to physics
Komarin - no go - rework needed, more bridges or ability to use water might solve the following issues
I can give in return Dragon ridge, won't miss it.

cant we just buy maps as premiums? So that those who love this or that map, can just buy it for 2500 gold or so?
Personally i loved Province since it rendered every heavy tank utterly useless. It was a TD's dream, atleast it was. Swamp was just superb cuz even a bad team could win it.

Add, not minus. The more maps, the better randomization there is. I saw one map the day before yesterday 9 x's in 17 battles. Screw all that.

lol @ ppl voting for ``restore Komarin``...
The HATE for komarin was (and is) unmatched, its 10x less popular as Dragon Ridge or Serene Coast, as long as i play this game Komarin was hated, and ppl where whining about it after MANY MANY months of whine and rage WG finally removed it, and now you want it back?
the Komarin comes back is a black day for wot...
ps: Province is just as awefull, for low tiers its ``ok`` (still total *****, but not worse as Swamp or Serene Coast) and will hopefully also never come back... Swamp is also total ******* (its Komarin light more or less) BUT Swamp can probably be remade in such way thats is playable...
ps ps: Only way to make Komarin work is lower the water level, so whats no water becomes swamp, and whats now swamp becomes grass, add an extre bridge the the island (which becomes more a hill then) and make 1 side less steep, so tanks can drive from the swamp to the island, the swamp should ofc be full of cover, so u can move around (and rocks etc to u wont get nuked by arty)
Refrain from cursing

People hate komarin because it was a balanced map where every flank was a chokepoint, unskilled players and campers got overwhelmed by tactical agressive scouts that went past the chokepoints placing themselves in positions that force them out.
Komarin was a balanced map, and if anything, thinking of WoT's pathetic tries to do serious esports. the only map where one could play professionally.
Swamps was similar to komarin in ways that it was balanced on all flanks and didnt favor any side. Only that it was larger.
Some of us enjoy playing good and making up tactics, wot needs balanced maps that are fun to play on. Not drawn by an artist knowing nothing of level design.

The big problem with Komarin was that most players either camped forever (not a problem for skilled players though) or tried to caprush. Still remember those games where they all drive into cap without taking out the enemys first, only to get shot down while standing around.
Swamp was very very campy (way worse than Komarin in that aspect), since it was easy to defend both bridges from either side (you could go with the aggressive push over the bridge that was closer, but there was another camping spot behind the bridge where the enemys hid). It was impossible to flank, since the only option to do so was the completely open middle where you would only get sniped from the other side of the map. The only way to make a quick battle on Swamp was to stop an enemy push over the bridge and kill a bunch of their tanks making it possible to push them instead.
Especially in the later part of the game, when it was a close battle (similar amount of tanks on both sides left) they usually all camped, because the one attacking was usually the one losing.
Currently this kind of gameplay can mostly be seen on maps like Serene Coast (thankfully they finally remove that), El Halluf (needs some kind of fix IMO, physics made the last artysafe spots a joke and the beach isn't what it was before) and Redshire.
I wonder if there is some kind of statistic about the average duration of the battle on each map, it seems there is at least a statistic about wins from each side to see if the sides are balanced (curios how Serene Coast ever made it trough trials [if there are any], seeing how it has a winrate in the low fourties for the north side).
Definitely agree with Ew_ that maps need to be designed with a bit more thought, at least it seems like they just think "What scenery could we use?" and start drawing a nice landscape and place some rocks as cover. Maps should provide some cover, especially cover that makes it possible to advance without getting killed. No one wants campy maps (except TD and arty players).

Province is the only map i truly hate in the trio, the others i was ok with Swamp was ok but it could use some more structures here and there and Komarin i liked well enough except the island seemed to be kind of ill set out, maybe a bit of restructuring and it could be fun

Imo the lack of map diversity makes the game get boring faster.
I was under the impression there would be new maps released every patch or 2 but ... no :(
Komarin I have seen only once or twice in a company battle. we were completely lost cause none but some oldies knew it.

Province only works at low tiers because everything has short view range. It's a tiny map that's wide open, and all of the good camping spots can see everything.
Also, most unbalanced map in the game, left spawn wins something like 60% of battles.
