Looks great! This was built in Britain? Cas if it is a British tank I think it will be on the new tree.

Actually, why not?
Since it's slow as hell, and has 100mm of frontal armour why not make it a tier 5 pusher? like a one tier lower Jumbo Sherman. The T95 of lower tier battles. 'Cept this one would play more like a Micro Maus
At least they got the wheels right in this one.

It would be hard to balance the tank to be fair.

I think it would be to slow to have it at T5 unless it was to be given a buff to speed but it could not be lower due to the armor been next to immune to more or less any thing it would fight at T4 most of the time.

Over all its a smaller slower churchill with abit more armor.

Kind of like more armored but less mobile churchil, complete with a turret weakspot... (and god, i love the churchill and i will love the valiant)

ANd i guess the side armour ain't that good.

Where is listy, our british tank expert? I crave for his approval :D
come on Listy, i don't bite (except if you want it..)

114mm (4.5 inches) maximum of cast armour in that (sloped) nose. And with a 6 pounder gun in a three man turret. A small chassis - it's only about 7 ft tall (a fraction shorter than Hetzer)

Consider what it would have been like against Japanese tanks in the war in the East.

They would probably see it as the Germans saw the B1 back in 1940. And nickname it "Collossus" :Smile_teethhappy:

Wasnt this tank kept so as to be used as an example of how NOT to design a tank

For reasons that aren't considered gameplay important in WoT.

You know, I was thinking, an in-game Valiant would be much like a small and tough british bulldog :Smile_Default:

whether a tank was reliable and comfortable doesn't matter in WoT
whether it kicks ass does

Wasnt this tank kept so as to be used as an example of how NOT to design a tank ?

The sole Valiant was retained by the School of Tank Technology, where students were treated to an inspection of it at the end of their course and invited to find fault. David Fletcher wrote of this: "One hopes they started early in the morning."[

that tank is meant to be the worst tank design ever
designed to fight the Japanese
only 1 was made but I would like it added for the sake of it

Actually B T White in AFV  Profile No. 6 refers to "pilot models", the Tank Museum refers to two prototypes, so it seems they managed a couple. .
