So I got finally that order and I have small force of "defensive" Panzergrenadiers.

Here's list for now (going to make it bigger at some point):

Quote

HG Panzergrenadier Company:

Headquarters - 165p

- 2 x Command Teams
- 2 x Panzerknacker Upgrades
- 2 x Panzershrecks
- Sniper Team

HG Panzergrenadier Platoon - 160p

- 2 x Squads
- Panzerknacker Command Team

HG Panzergrenadier Platoon - 160p

- 2 x Squads
- Panzerknacker Command Team

HG Panzergrenadier Anti-Tank Platoon - 130p

- 2 x PaK40

HG Panzer Platoon - 230p

- 3 x Panzer III ausf. M
- 1 x Upgrade to ausf. N

Heer Rocket Launcher Battery - 145p

- 3 x 21cm NW42 Launchers

Total - 990p

So basic idea is to defend heavily in certain area's whic means that I use heavily certain things:

1: I can attach Pak's on my Panzergrenadiers whic lessen's my deployment time and make nightmare to assault for enemy tanks.

2: Cheap and effective artillery that has punch and smoke can be very useful tool (Panther sniping you're tanks? Not anymore!).

3: Panzer platoon is cheap and can counter-attack enemy spearheads. Plus asf. N can fire smoke & bombard enemy.

4: And finally, I got some guys left so I can change my list to match opponent (MG for Inf. for example).

And as final note, I have started to make those guys now but I already have AT-Gun Platoon ready and maybe add photos later.

Okay, little update.

Good thing is that most stuff have painted or has been started painted.

Bad thing is that stupid #### ##### ############ camera is broken and my second camera is less ideal for taken pics.

I'm planning to order some half-tracks so I can upgrade my motorcycle guys to motorised. Oh, and I'm thinking about adding some Semoventes!

Snipers in small numbers are utterly useless. Find something better for the points. As its a MW army, drop the Panzer IIN's to IIIM's and use the saved points to get some IlG-18's.

Once you try these little babies out you'll never want to get out of bed without them.

And it maybe come as shock that this list is actually LW. Dogs and Devils book you see.

Oh, and I have planned to remove Sniper to add some rec to my list.

I'd still go for all Panzer IIIM's. All you're gaining is a point of firepower and one less shot. And yet it costs something like 25 points per tank. Those points could be employed elsewhere.

You thought of getting the barbedwire upgrade?

Yep, it can save someones ass if I must play defenders role. And ausf. N is cheaper and it provides smoke (you never have enough smoke!).

But because of the organisation, I can't have Panthers, Panzers  or Tigers in same list so it's stupid. And god, those Panthers are expensive! (+500 for 3 tanks)

I'd never advocate taking panthers. The only tree Panther Models In my vast collection are Allied ones (Cuckoo and the two polish jobs).

I like the 3M over the 3N, just due to FP 4+ being good enough and its quite tasty at blasting baddies out of foxholes.

Well, PzIII is good against vehicles and tanks. So if you're fighting against infantry, something has gone terribly wrong.

Oh and as little note, that i'm currently calculating that should I take Pioneers & increase my Pg squads or add armoured Pg squad.

Both the M and the N are the same against vehicles. Both have AT9. While the N has a point of fire-power the M has an extra shot. So it works out exactly the same. Unless your shooting at light armour, then the M has slightly more chance of coming out in the lead.

Ohh, nice. And wait, is that Junkers Ju 88 in last picture? Where is that model from?

Edit: Yes, it's ok to post you're own FoW pics (not just Listy) so post some pics of you're own. Or start blog in that matter.

Yup.
Looks damn cool blowing Kitties and Commies (I've got a Finnish army so we can shoot at whomever we like!) up with a stick of bombs.

Well, gues who has all Stugs made from PCS sets?

I could also say that I originally intended to make HG Panzerkompanie but then I learned that PSC is making Panzer III (late) version in less than 3 months.

Raise the banners! Finally got all models painted and ready for action!

Next in the line is some 250. Halftracks, AA and trucks. Lots of trucks.
