Smoking.

Smoking is bad for health and costs a lot of money.
In this thread, we'll discuss about smoking and its effects on health.

I don't believe you. Plus smoking ain't that bad. It all comes around to what you inhale. I have begun to smoke E-Ciggis with Vanilla and Cookies flavour however, saves me the time from standing up and having to go into the kitchen for a smoke.

I tried the electric cigarette and boy that's the most useless thing ever :-/
Nicotine gums work better imo.

Well, 3 people have died in my family of lung cancer-all heavy smokers. Watching them fade, and slowly lose all their dignity was harrowing. I can't say smoking is a bright idea.Plus you are pushing it into the air others have to breath, children etc.
My father had chronic obstructive airways disorder, smoking did not help his survival chances. Watching him in hospital slowly suffocate was something I would not wish on anybody. I had to answer the question if I wante dto resusitate
him when he died. Not a nice choice for a nineteen year old. My mother was destroyed by it. The poor young doctor on his first week was sitting in his office crying his eyes out on our way out.
Smoking is an ugly business.

Before we go any further I want to have a look at your stats/behavior:

How many cigarettes do you smoke a day? How much money do you spend on cigarettes a week? And how much is this in relation to other 'hobbies'? When did you start smoking, who is to blame for it and how many cigarettes did you smoke throughout your life? Did you ever try premium blends? If so, would you say they burn up 50% faster so you can get to the next one? Do you ever team up with others to smoke? What is your favorite smoke location? How much did smoking impact on your general health/condition?

Would you consider becoming a passive smoker, leeching of the smoke of others btw?

Even with stories like this make some smokers go 'meh, not my family'.

My parents smoke and Im pretty scared they might just get sick suddenly.

Never smoked a single cigarette.

Sometimes a water bongo, but that doesnt count!

My grandmother from fathers side was a strong smoker (two packages of cigs each day) and yet she did die to something totaly different...

Same as my mother's grandparents/ but they lived on the countryside. As a smoker in countryside is not as bad as smoking if you live in a big city ( pollution, stressing environment ).
