SU-8 - Using crew from SU-5

Hi
I have kept my su-5 crew after selling this SPG. They all have xp at 97% and I am wondering if I can use them in my new su-8? My su-8 crew are in the 60's and although I can place my su-5 crfew in the su-8 the xp is showing up in red not white. Will this nerf my SU-8?

Crews need to be retrained when switching vehicle. Do not use red crews.
You can use them in the SU-8 by right-clicking the crewmember -> personal info -> training -> current vehicle.
It is advisable to use credits (if you have any spare) to get the crew back in action with the highest training level possible.

Thanks Nugget. I have just checked their training and I can retrain to 75? for free or more if I spend some credits.

It is better to transfer the crew from su5 (at 97% primary skill) to su8 and apply the crew retraining at 90% which cost 20k credit per crew. I knew it might be costly but the new crew will be at 87% assuming they will lose 10% after the retraining. Also, notice that there are 5 crew in su5 and 6 in su8, so you have to add one new crew.
Just don't forget to retrain crew when you transfer or you will get high penalty in crew skills and it appears in red. Also one more thing, at tier 5 arty the accuracy is bad and you will miss a lot. so make sure the crew are 80%+, that is why better train them with credit at 90%.
