I hope the new rendering system actually is optimized. Still kind of out of the blue news that they are making a makeover to the engine. Maybe something borrowed from WoWp.

"As for the medium tanks we're going to add two types. Semi-heavy tank, or the 'infantry tanks'"

Does that mean the Churchill is on the medium line? Because that's an Infantry Tank.

As Sergey mentioned in the interview the new rendering system is planned for 8.0 and it will be totally remade.
Can't wait to see that - exciting news!

I would play as a stationary fortification, so long as it had the dustbin or something unique about them thats attractive :p

4 man platoon thing i can totally understand though, as a 3 man platoon people using teamwork can be "op" :p

British tanks though, that did give me a pause of concern, considering that many of the tanks medium, heavy and infantry tanks used the same guns, is it going to be a case of APDS rounds for the mediums or something? Also going off that, the explaination of the tanks pros and cons was jumbled, and could mean 1 of several things from what i can tell, a more "precise" explaination would be nice, for example,

Infantry tanks pros and cons
Example, matilda, churchill, valentine
Medium/cruiser tanks pros and cons
crusader, cromwell, comet, centurion (medium)
Heavy tanks pros and cons
The conq

As the 3 are fairly seperate (and cruiser/medium can be argued to be seperate too but heh), but they all shared the same weaponry for the most part, making the "this group will have firepower but this group which was armed in the same way wont" thing confusing and would be nice to explain how they are different from 1 another and by how much.

I might just be misshearing it but i would like clarification.

What does 'cruiser tank' mean anyway? Are they supposed to be fast or something?

Depends a lot on how well optimized it is. If it is better optimized it might actually improve performance.

It is a class of tanks that the brits used. http://en.wikipedia..../Cruiser_tank   They are fast lightly armoured tanks.

Well, I can't call them patches, because the word "patch" means some kind of fix. We're just adding more functions.

LOL, serb is admitting that they mindlessly keep adding new content instead of fixing bugs! This is brilliant.

Many players already play as stationary fortifications....i.e. campers :Smile_trollface-3:

I'm hoping that they play like the Hellcat, which is my favorite tank in-game. Fast and lightly armoured yet able to hit hard. The Comet and Centurion are what I'm most looking forward too.
