The Premium KV-5 Heavy Tank will be removed from the World of Tanks game store and gift shop.

Why? It's not really swarming the battles like the Type 59 was.
Unless WG thinks its too similar to the KV-4 so that they'll remove it.

Ah well, the memories of old R2-D2 will soon be over, unfortunately.

Will keep mine forever, despite its weaknesses and small gun, it's got quite some character. Over 1000 matches strong with 54% win ratio and a lot more kills than battles participated, proves it can be used effectively.

I guess the greeders need some more money. Let's get every last drip out of the "customer"... And when that's done, they'll announce the replacement for the KV5, probably a concrete bunker with 72km/h topspeed and a 180mm autocannon with a 25-round drumroll.

now I own 2 vehicles that have been removed :P , but seriously why remove it ? is it because of the JgTig 8.8 and IS6 are going to have same MM as it?

It's not being removed from game, just won't be able to buy it until they have a special on, much like the Type 59!

Seems like they didnt sold enough KV5 last month and now they doing this so that everyone runs to the Shop and trys to get one before its "removed"

I was hoping that I could swap with a different instead, like IS-6, and pay the difference in gold. Wish I could do that...

becuse is 6 is expensive

I'm guessing they're removing it because it's only 7500 G and they want other 10,000 G + vehicles to be sold more rather than the KV-5

Smart move, you want people to spend money on the new premiums, and by removing old ones that they also spend money on that. There is no (gameplay related) reason to remove the KV-5 so this just highlights the shameless money grubbing even more, a whole new level Wargaming, a whole new level.

This heavy is probably too cheap for WG' liking now that the new ones are all around 7500 for a medium an 10K+ for a heavy.
