Yes, I am ofcourse, refering to The Dark Knight Rises, the last of The Dark Knight trilogy and well.....its bloody well gobsmakingly speechless inducing amazing, seriously, if you havn't seen it yet, drop what you're doing get to your nearest cinima and watch it, it will leave you breathless.

For those of us which have, what was your fav part, which bits of dialogue stuck out to you the most and do you think this is the end of Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale doing Batman films? Please, remember to use spoiler tags, so other people dont get the film ruined.

No, that is what you get when someone who isn't allowed to have a gun gets one....and that can happen anywhere, even in england or germany...

What WAS missing in that incident was a law abiding citizen with the right to carry a weapon who could have taken that idiot out before he killed anyone....but obviously the only person with a gun was the idiot who shouldn't have had one in the first place.

So much for everyone having guns in America....

Back on topic, I too found Keaton to be one of the best, but I actually like Bale in the role, he seems to add a bit of humanity to the role in my opinion. Of course, as I said, this is my opinion, I feel for example Daniel Craig is the most realistic Bond ever, even though nobody does it better than Sean Connery!  ;)

There are far more gun-related incidents in America than Europe. Even if he wasn't supposed to have one, that doesn't stop the fact that it's far easier to obtain a firearm in America, when there's a legal dealer in almost every settlement.

Key point: LEGAL, and if you can't get one legally, you won't at a legal gun dealer, because you have a waiting period and a police check before you can get one. But obviously you can get guns here in germany, I definitely recall some shootings here too!

Another point. I live in Fulda, Germany...it is basically a small settlement, nothing huge or impressive, but off hand we have 4 or 5 gun dealers (legal) in a relatively small town.

That is 4 or 5 more legal gun dealers than where I grew up in america. So don't listen to media hype, because that is all it is, Hype.

My Dad listens to hype....he always asks me how I avoid all the nazi and neo nazi violence here in germany, since EVERY day (according to LA Times HYPE) violent murders are commited by such folk here in germany...of course, that isn't true either, it is just HYPE.

Sorry for OT.

Christian Bale still does a good job. Especially since you would not expect him to be "that type" when you think of comic heroes!

The general (right-side) opinion in the US by now is that everyone else should have guns too, so they can shoot back...

Anyway, may the victims rest in peace.
