None of the above. A noob = newbie = a new player to the game. All of the options above are mostly characteristics of a bad player.

I think its something with the transcription, from cyrillic to "our" letters. There are often more than one possibilities.

i think only little kids use w and not v. I saw at few spots that today's facebook generation of noobs ( e.g. under 18 yo ) use w and not v e.g. they write mowing and not moving, for love the use lowe ( not t8 prem...) etc... I don't understand that and I don't care to understand it but we need to do all in our power to keep our game FB noob free....

How to end plague of FB noobs ( easily identified by using W instead of V ):

1. Give them a harsh warning preferably containing noob, profanities.
2. TK them

Ohhh and yes siemka guys use KW and not KV soooo apply rules above to them also :Smile_trollface-3:

Edit: Not that I have anything against polish players but I hate siemka spam

Edit#2: A noob is....well not gonna tell you that but i will give you a hint if you want to see a noob get a mirror :Smile_trollface-3:

Noob is a person who has just started to play a game, can't play it yet, very often do things completely irrational however people use the term noob to insult and more in the meaning of a lamer, someone who just have low skills. The funny thing is that many of those people don't understand the meaning and very often misspell it.

Moru suited term for a player who lack skill is lame, lamer. Noob comes from newbie which means more like a rookie.

P.S.: KV - In polish language that tank series is called KW as the spelling of the name is different. There are plenty of polish players on EU server.

Noob != Newbie

Newbie = a new player who is just learning the game
Noob = A player with 14 000 battles and a little above 40% winratio driving around with E-100 / IS-4

Noob is empty word because everyone is using too much and usually that person is not even right.
Lot of people forget to look at situation from perspective of another player and just shout OMG NOOB! NOOB TEAM! **** NOOB!
I don't even care if someone calls me noob because I am often doing better then a person who called me noob.He just died and is not looking what mistakes he did and he push all guilt of his death over me.

"Siemka guys" are just polish guys. And in our alphabet the name of the designer is spelled with "W" not with "V" as we do not have that letter in our alphabet (in latin V is U).

hello / hi = siema / hej / jol (joł) / czesc / witam

Noob is also used nowadays to mean someone who is not just a newbie, but acting like a newbie....i.e playing really bad....

Times change, meanings change.  Originally, newbie came in during the second world war meaning you were green, a "newbie".

Newbie - Someone who is new and is learning the ropes.
Noob - Someone who has been playing for any length of time and doesn't even attempt to learn a tank's strengths or weakness, and thinks they know everything and that they're the best player ever.

Noobs commonly use phrases such as:
"OMG NOOB TEAM" (When they get killed after getting shot by half the enemy team because he just charged towards the enemy base with no support OR when they lose the game).
"HACKER" (When they get killed by someone who has defeated them with skill, who "definately" couldn't  have beaten them).

ETC:

Noob and newbie defined.

KV is initials for Kliment Vorosjilov.
Because original is in cyrylic letters КВ , and there are multiple regional conversions from cyrilic to latin, and in some it gets a W and in some it gets a V.

"The Orks call their ruling caste Nobz. Nobz are bigger and scarier than other Orks and revel in cruel or casual violence. Nobz lead by example, plunging into the thick of the fighting and breaking skulls left, right and centre. In this way each Nob acts as a sergeant-at-arms, champion, oppressor and role model for the Boyz they lead."

Ya git dad wrong huuuumies ! No propa Orky values ... Waaaaagh !!! :Smile-izmena:

Touchy - rahter not. I do not use PL language in games at all (if possible) not only in WoT. I prefer EN language in games as such versions simply kick ass! ;-)

Cheers mate :D

Who is noob ?
It's me probably... So I'm.

Well, many players calling me noob when they die and telling me, I'm the reason why they died...
- Mostly it is because I'm noob and I'm on the other side of map alone, and our lemming train is on the other...
- Well, sometimes I'm noob when I'm with some other tanker and I trying to help him, but I'm noob because I don't have 15 RoF.
(I have lazy Loaders prob)
- Sometimes I'm called like that in my SPG, where I'm mostly reason why we loose the game they said even if I hit every each shot...

It could be confusing sometimes, but if there are so many players telling me that, it is probably true :Smile_mellow:
So stop speculate, you find me !

Because some of the nations have no "V". Poland as far as I know is one of those countries.

http://en.wikipedia....Polish_alphabet

"The letters q, v, and x do not belong to the Polish alphabet, but are used in some foreign words and commercial names. In loanwords they are often replaced by kw, w, and ks, respectively (as in kwarc "quartz", weranda "veranda",ekstra "extra")."

WTF.....there is no according to your source ( they just borrow / steal it from  other superior languages ) :Smile_trollface-3:

Don't post some thing and than give a link to site that proves you wrong make others work to prove you wrong....if you are going to troll do it in style....
-1 for failed troll attempt

Edit: But since polish keyboards have V why don't they use it.....hmmmm makes you think they are just trolling us
