About the t5 premiums - they arent anything super special

For half a price yes. "Machine gun" is fun. If WG would put the news about "specials" on the portal I wouldn't bought it yesterday.
Anyway, it does from 10k to 20k without premium account. Let's say 12k average.

I use my Churchill to train my IS-4 crew. that's a much cheaper way to upgrade their skills due to the much lower repair and ammo costs.

so if you can deal with a tank I'd compare with an undergunned (but with high ROF) KV-1 tank, I can strongly recommend the Churchill.

its good, allmost top dog every battle, sometimes a few tier VI thats higher

You can hurt most things you meet in the battle. You are often put on top, you will meet tier 6 and tier 7 once in a while. Don't know how it will be after the patch.

Its a good tank but dont go out in the open unless you have to artillery will take you out easy i have been subject to artillery to many times 1 shot knocked half my modules out and killed crewman.

Good investment its a nice tank.

good ROF. Very machine gun like with rammer/vent. Decent armor.

Bad = long, need to really come out to shoot and super slow, you dont go around things.. just head into it.

Tier cap for now. Almost all the time top dog. Occasionally T6 and T7.

This weekend you cab also buy Matilda for half price. So Churchill or Matilda?

And it's a primary target for artillery too, because of its low speed and large silhouette.

It takes some time to adjust to, because its playstyle is way different from other heavy tanks, with the exception of B1 maybe. It cannot really snipe (altough constant barrage will get you some hits), it's useless at peek-a-booing because of low alpha and turret position and cannot really use a hulldown.

You have to roll in and spam shells at anything in front of you to utilize its superior DPM (highest of all tier V HT) and pray your HP pool holds long enough. Alone you can defeat any tier V tank and many of tier VI.

chuchill. for 750 gold its an awsome deal.

its 1 tank army. Unless you meet KV-1

Looking at the matchmaking diagram you should only encounter T6 occasionally, unless you platoon of course. But will that change after the update?

Worth it if you want:
-increase credits (6 decent matches=100.000 credits)
-increase kill-rate (always more than 1 a game, even if I'm a bad player...)
A failure if you want to increase your win rate.......

I did that on 7.3 test server, and bought a churchill. Not because it brings money (tier 8 premiums are moneymaker not T5), but because it is quite fun to play. That and it can train russian crews so its good too.

But dont buy a tier 5 premium to make money, they dont really make more than other tier 5s.

I did prefer churchill over matilda, way over. But that is down to personal taste, they play differently. Churchill get 140 AP shells and throws one for 80 damage every 2 seconds. Even with a GLD, you cant get fully aimed between 2 shots if you fire continuously :D

I like that a lot. When people cant see you, firing will make them panic because they will think there are 10 tanks firing at them. Making a barrage fire with a churchill is quite nice. And when they take hits, they dont bother because "it is only small damage".

Thing is "small damage" every 2 seconds hurts quite a lot :D there is another tank with this gun, the M7MT. But that one is tier 6 i think, and it has scout MM... churchill usually never meets more than tier 6 :p

Its worse heavy ennemies are the KV1, T1HT and T14 (need to aim at weak spot so learn them)
