DAMN YOU!!!
The 2 pics were different.
The vehicle was painted and the gun was aimed higher in the first pic, now it is just leveled.
Until when will this sh*t continue? First the f*cked up "Battle of Stalingrad" event now this.

Hey, what the hell is this?!
On the very first day I figured out that this was the Dickermax and sent the email to Contests_EU@wargaming.net
Where's my prize?!
Was my message not clear enough?
(sent: 24/07/2012 18:56)
"In-game name: Solexi
Based on the gun muzzle break, the track layout and the camo, I think that this may be the new German TD Dickermax."

I don't even care about the prize gold.
I waited for the picture to be posted and was working on it as soon as it was up. I immediatly though that it looked like the Dickermax as I had been playing it a lot in the test server and the fact that it has a very unique muzzle break. I spent 30 minutes simply ruling out the possibility that it was any other tank before answering.
It feel like the competition judges just dismissed my answer as a wild guess.
At least lay out a proper template of how much detail you want in an answer if you're going to dismiss genuine answers as wrong for not having enough info.

What should be the info?
I write :
Username : Denis333
The tank is : ...
Is that enough?

Is there anyone from the community team who can answer why some of us didn't win even though we submitted the correct answer on the first day?
#10 Posted 30 July 2012 - 10:19 PM
maybe its random and only 4000 gold can be reparted each day? (2 winners first day, 4 winners second, etc)

It's supposed to be the first 6 answers they get... at least what the rules say.
I've seen Guess what results with all being 2,000 gold meaning all were won on the first day.

I finally got an answer from support.
I spelled it "Dickermax". Aparrently I had to spell it "Dicker Max" to win. As if you couldn't tell what I was talking about without the space.

Guys. How about you increase the winners from 6 to like 12? The player base rise quite fast, but events are the same for small community. I think its about good time to increase the amount of winners there can be?
#15 Posted 31 July 2012 - 08:50 PM
^Definitely, especially considering there's only one winner per language region (EN, DE, FR, ES, PL or CZ,) English of which is the biggest group I reckon. Not exactly fair is it?
Edit: This may have been old information or maybe I was just talking out of my arse. See below... In any case, why such an odd number? Why not 8, or 10? You can always make restrictions as to how often one can win gold from one type of competition or how often one receives gold from them if increasing winners makes the competition "too popular" or "too beneficial."
As for Solexi's treatment, I say bullshit, WG itself has repeatedly "misspelled" it Dickermax on the news and other places so why should it matter so much in this contest?

is that real, that only one guy/region could win? coz it seems rly stupid if we watch the odds.
#17 Posted 31 July 2012 - 09:55 PM
Nothing like that... six players win no mater from what region... the only thing that is said is that you can write it on that 6 main languages if it's easier for ya... nothing about regions and a player for each region... :D

its a dickemax ,lol
Despite a high scoring and the immediate start of production desired by Hitler was the "Big Max" never in the series production. After the completion of the two prototypes, they came to the 3rd Armored Division. With its massive firepower contributed both prototypes in service in the Soviet Union. Your cannon was grown in 1941 no tank. However, a prototype was captured by the Red Army after it was destroyed by a hit and the resulting explosion of the ammunition. Then, the last intact "Big Max" brought back into the Gruson works in Magdeburg, to be reconverted into a Panzer IV.
To a series production of the tank, it never came because the Army for the rhino to be built more quickly decided. Thus, the "Fat Max" is a weaker model's undoing. In hindsight maybe would be a production of "Fat Max" have made more sense, since he was later more than enough firepower to such types as the JS-2 to be dangerous.
Development
Back in 1939, Krupp was contracted to develop a heavy tank destroyer. They stood for a 10.5 - inch - - or even a 12.8 cm in front of anti-tank cannon. In early 1941, was completed two prototypes. Both were based on the chassis of the Panzer IV Ausf A. Since both were built in Magdeburg in Gruson, it made sense to the heavy field howitzer 10.5 cm K 18 L/52 from the neighboring factory, the factory machines Buckau to use as weapons. This huge gun was able to fight both bunkers and armor effectively at long range. With tank shells, they could still at 2000 meters a 11 cm thick steel armor plate hit by (at an angle of 30 °).
With a weight of no less than 26 tons of Big Max was still a speed of 40 km / h reached on the road.
