Rule changes from last tournament:
  • Only tanks of tier 6 or below and artillery of tier 4 or below, may be used in the championship. Declarations of tank choices before the game are not required. In the event of a team-member violating these regulations, the whole team will be disqualified
  • Light tanks will now be limited to 4 per team, this should help prevent any "greifing" of tier 6 heavies and tier 3 artilery
that means tier 3 or tier 4 artillery?

Isn't it possible to hold tournaments on the weekend? Clans with many employed persons would certainly appreciate that.

The super 6 was on the weekend last time and now is on a week day, it will swap between weekend and week day :), each month there will be a different tournament on the weekend. So this month it will be the Fun cup that is on the weekend.

since you're seeding semi finalists and up from last tournament, when will our first match be when we reached 3rd place?

1)Teams must consist of at least 2 tanks from every nation (FR,DE,USA,RU). However they can be of any type
2) A team roster must consist of 14players, and may include up to 4 registered reserve players.

In both rules you use a word "MUST". We know what happens if you dont use 2 tanks from every nation. You get disqualified.
But what happens in case of battle 14vs12, for example? The team with 12 members will be disqualified also?
In last S6 there was a lot of talk about this... In my opinion, playing in team with 11 members against 14 is cruel enough without additional punishment...

last time we faced a team with 10 tanks at some point, so it's all good as long as you fill the 2 from each nation requirement

Yeah, i know that. We played 9 vs 12 and won :Smile_Default:

But here is what Bump had said for last tournament...

http://forum.worldof...es-enforcement/

Quote: "The rule was that the team needed a minimum of 14 members to sign up not to play, issues can arise on the night and so a team could play with less members if they didn't have the full 14. Ofcorse in this system that puts them at a huge disadvantage, so that is the punishment they have.
I admit the rule could have been worded better and I hope you understand that we cant change now but it will be re-written for the next tournament."

Roster is what you can see on your team webpage 9so total number of players registered), not what you take into battle.
The main reason for dropping forever an idea "you have to take 14 player into battle" was that in case of 1 player DC just before battle, you would lose and that would be awful.
On the other hand we should ask Bump what in the case if 1 team will take only 2 german tanks and 1 of those germans gets dved before battle, thus they are playing with 13 players but have only 1 german tank.
According to the rules they should be disqualified, however, taking 1 player less doesn't give them any advantage at all.....

is it possible to change the team setup if already approved for participation then? kinda had to do a last minute fill in of the team.

Also, when will we start playing when being seeded? I would like to know this ASAP as people need to plan accordingly.

Hi all.
I have a question.
Rules talks about "tank of tier 6 and artillery of tier 4".
And "a maximum of 4 light tanks for each team".
What about "Tank destroyers" ?
Are them allowed?
Max allowed tier for them?

Well I'm no official but since rules about tank destroyers didn't change since last time - you can use any tank destroyer tier 6 or bellow, they count as regular tanks
