This pack removes all the effects i am able to, in order to hopefully increase your Frames Per Second.
This includes things like smoke, exhaust, explosions, muzzle flash, fire, burning tanks, etc. I also remove the scopeshadow, tree sway, and the movie that plays when you load the game.
Keep in mind that this makes for a very bare game, but if you maybe have an older computer and really need some extra fps, you might give my pack a try.

To install, just unpack into your C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.5 folder.

I could use it, but i love the explosions, smokes etc. Great job though , my friends will use it for sure

I have been disabled for the last 8 years and have hardly left my house since.  This is something i am not exactly happy about, so its not something i talk about often. Over the last 2 years, this game and the NA community have become far more important in my life than, admittedly, i should have let them.  They have, for all intents and purposes, become my only friends and my only social outlet.  Now because of a personal issue with one employee, i feel like i am being forced out of the game. I am already perma-banned from the forums and from the threats i have received I feel it is only a matter of time before they won't let me give them more money.... or play and interact with my friends.  The fact that i do all i can to help every person who asks for it and basically never do anything wrong in-game seems to not be important and that frustrates me.  It frustrates me as a human being, that people can be so cold and it frustrates me as a customer who has put WAY too much money into this game, that my money and my time and efforts don't seem to buy any loyalty or understanding or even basic respect.  Now i don't know whether i will now be punished for stating my feelings, but if so, its been nice playing with you guys and I will truly miss you all... even... well... you know who you are. :P

given the facts what happened to you, i may consider not to buy anymore gold! maybe just for premium account long as i play but no more premium tanks! there is no investment security as the customer service for this company proven way too poor and outclassed!
i would not be able to play this game on my laptop without your modifactions and WG would not get any money from me! same for many other players

Thanks for this, without your mod I would not be able too play WOT at all. When Im turning snipe-vision I always get few secound freez and sometimes this freez turns permanent and I have to restart my PC. But now with scopeshadow removed I dont have any problem with this at all.
But I would like to keep explosion efect when tank is hitted, so can you tell me what I have to delete from your pack to save this effect?

just FYI C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.4\particles\Environment contains all the effects and smoke related to the environment, most importantly all the smoke when you run over things.

Interesting to me that i put a post about this mod in all 3 forums... NA, EU, and RU.

Both the NA and EU communities responded positively and were very supportive...

The RU community called the guy who posted it for me names and basically posted over and over that we should go back to the EU forums where we belong.

Will you adapt it to 8.0?
