If they insert the new tanks before the current tier 6's (Move the current tier 6's to 8), this would be an improvement I think. The current difference from 5 to 6 is large, in terms of how they affect games.

What idiot did not understand that the current tier 8 SPGs will be tier 10?

Artillery is near being useless in randoms right now, because all of these french light and medium tanks,because of t-50 and t-50-2 and recently - the tier 10 mediums.

Not only- they should stretch the artillery up to tier 10  but also - buff the accuracy, rate of fire and mobility and HE damage of the existing artilleries, which is ridiculously silly, right now..

T92 reloading every 40+ seconds, having ridiculous aiming time, hitting Maus or Is7 for 400-600 damage with a direct hit..
If i splash the same Maus or IS-7 by MISSING on purporse - I'm able to deal anywhere from 600-800 of damage. WTF is this crap?
People are going to switch back to tier 7 arties in Clan Wars, because these arties can offer higher ROF, while retaining the damage on direct hit and the radius of splash.

This game is a joke all WG wants is cash from people to get the new "super OP tank" then it gets nerfed in the next patch.  So all the losers (myself included pfft) who buy gold, convert xp and drive the new tank dont get the benefit for long anyway.

It ALMOST makes sense to have arty in tiers 1-10 if everything else is the same.  With same stats etc there should be no issues and it might make things a little easier to make sense of for nubs.

All this change will mean is it will most likely be much easier to reach tier 5 and 6 arties as they will be less powerful then the current ones- thus costing less XP.

It seems a very sensible solution, tier 6-8 tanks are where arties probably do too high damage relative to average hp so some newer arty added there would be a good idea.
