no you missed the point even i can see that he is saying the tier 10 arty will be the same as tier 8 is today. They are just making the grind go from 1-10 instead of 1-8.

'approx the same firepower'. Wanna bet they get a lil increase in fire power? But nobody talked about mobility/armor accurace, RoF, arc of attack, splash damage..

hahahahhahahah, you want to TRUST WG on this? Trust and WG in the same line? They themselves stated only 'approx the same firepower', what makes you think the other stats wont be increased. If the other stats wouldn't be increased, they could've just shoved tier 8 arty up 2 tiers, but they DON'T

The only thing i can imagine they buff is the mobility. With the vast increase in mobility and speed of tanks at tier X some of them could really use it.
Personal wishlist is only a buff in aimtime for the T92, it takes ages and really sucks the fun out of random battles with it.
