looks nice...it would be awesome in dogfights that heavier and stronger tank can push weaker tank..or is this going to be added in new update, like on last part of video where maus pushes tank??

Don't hurry on gz-ing WG. The physics won't be in 8.0. Read the patch notes. Only new graphic and some tds.... .
Ahem - "Amongst other things, this update will contain:"
The In development page doesn't list all the stuff for patch 8.0. You'll need to wait for the patch notes for that.

Nice upgrades, bur what about a buff to E100 front lower plate. Thats realy needed unlike your birds and flying planes...
Improvements will come. Overlord stated in the Q&A thread that the devs are still not happy with the e100 performance. (See here and then here) If you honestly think the people who balance tanks are the same people who work on maps and environment effects you have a lot to learn about game design. Try to keep things on topic please. This thread doesn't need e100 feedback, try using the search function or posting your questions here

WG promised physic in 8.0, now there's nothing about it. I guess, working as intended?

Looks really great but, I'm not sure it will keep me here or, not? Not been here long and I can see that this game still needs a lot of work done as it is now. Continuously adding features to entice players to keep on playing and ignoring what needs to be fixed today, is not good for the game itself. It's just something to catch the eye with and try to make them forget about the problems at hand. If WG pushes this out, as fast as, they have been then, nothing will change at all. Just more problems with what exists already, added in. If this new 8.0 version will also be and update for the problems at hand and resolve them all then, it's all good but, I really don't think it's the answer.

they SAY it's more CPU friendly, but we all know there can be a HUGE gap between what WG's says, and what WG actually does (especially when it's something that benefits the users). Still... No multicore support in 2012, it's hard to believe it is actually possible.
#33 Posted 07 August 2012 - 05:39 PM
More than things look nice (i usually run without specialFX ... because it just distracts...) i hope they use an iteration of the game engine which is multicore capable for years now. That would really help.

Looks absolutely amazing, and with WG acquiring BigWorld they should be able to dictate what the engine can do, so multicore here we come (hopefully). Now just to sort out the insane amount of arty in some battles and this would be Epic.

Hmm, impressive, really, especially the fps improvement part.
Let's just hope this patch is right AFTER the UK tree patch. :]
