Hi guys now i'm in the sad situation that my pc isn't really that great I have about 20 fps on average max 25 fps ingame (10-13  fps in ensk) I run on low settings an use WoT tweaker.

Now i cant go out and buy a new PC too pricey maybe in 9-12 month but that is a looong time, but i can uprade it if thats possible but i'm not a computer specialist so here is my specs:

cpu: AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-core 2.30 ghz
ram: 4 gb
gpu: Nvidia Geforce GT 240 512 mb ram
os: Windows 7 ultimate x64
power supply: 500 watt
motherboard: M2N68-LA

Now keep in mind i can't buy a new PC so if it's possible to upgrade this pc in any way so it gets a better peformance then please tell my how.

WoT currently just supports/uses one of the CPU cores, so a quadcore's awesome power isn't used properly.
Just wait until they implement multi-core support...

The graphics seem ok, it should run smoother than 20 fps, though 512 mb are not that much...

Edit: Wait, i looked the GPU up.
Imao upgrade the graphic card, it's quite old and cannot really handle WoT.

RAM is cheap at the moment , and 4GB isn't considered "heavy weight" these days .

You are right, RAM isn't expensive and you can never have enough of it. But on my PC I play WoT while Excel and Mozilla is open and it uses ~2,8 GB memory so exchanging the graphics card seems to be the better way.

And as long WoT is only using one core, 2.3GHz is not that much...
But maybe (hopefully) that will be improved with version 8.0

I would upgrade the graphics card  and if my budget is good treat myself to more ram.
I would also consider a chip upgrade.

chip upgrade cpu,  motherboard or?

regarding the answers saying 0.8.0 believe i'm also hoping for better performance when it comes out but until then i need to figure out what to do and getting a upgrade wouldn't really hurt cause then i would get even better result in 0.8.0

GeForce GTS 450 would be around budget at a guess . It's a few models above your current card and and better spec...
