Thanks for reposting it. It is really helpful for retraining crew for other tanks :Smile_great:

Just because I'm not platooning with you all the time anymore, having my calculator ready for any task.
BTW we really should platoon sometime ,_,
Anyway, nice help for all the poor people who don't know the wiki or how to use a calculator, if you do have one and can use it you can see how it works here.

So we platooned, and kicked some major ass, nice playing with you again, been too long. Also you forgot to mention the ones that are lazy and want an easily accessible overview of the entire thing instead of calculating every single thing every time you want to know a specific number. Well yeah you can write it down. Oh wait, if you do, you get a sheet, sheets like the ones i posted. Ohgod noez why make crucial information easily accessible for others!

I did not make these numbers, altho im at 93% atm and 83K left till 94%.
Such a long grind, just for a few percent. And people complain about grinding to unlock entire tanks for a fraction of a skill.

Reading a table is much faster...

The calculator doesn't give you all the information the tables show. Derp.

Hmm, what do i need, to get from 55% to 87% on a Skill?
Ok, lets look at the tables, hmm, can't find it anywhere ...

From my point of view, a calculator is a better tool ...

or just the formlular from the Wiki: http://wiki.worldoft...#Training_Level

XP for nextSkillLevel = 2^Y × 25 × 100^(currentSkillLevel/endSkillLevel)

"Y" is
1 = Role (Major Qualification)
2 = First Skill/Perk
3 = Second Skill/Perk
and so on...

Then again, who wants to get to 87%?...

I think calculator isn't bad as well, but this table shows you pretty much everything you need ( exp for single steps between % and exp till 100%) the total exp aren't really needed x:

As an engineer, I prefer formulas. So if there are any mistakes, it's my fault.

Just my opinion ...

Or just look at the table and type a-b into your calculator (much easier).
The calculator someone linked has like no functions at all. For instance, what if you want it to give you the exp needed from 90% primary to 100% 2nd secondary?

Then you should know there are no mistakes in theese spreadsheets. This is helping, not telling others to help themselves.

The point is that calculating it on ones own takes much longer than just looked at these neat tables.

Then teach people to learn from the game without using the wiki to calculate out server side calculations by c.. no thats just dumb thinking. In fact, since you are an engineer you dont need to know the .

No its no point in arguing with you. You are wrong. This is Guides etc forum, so go and write your own troll thread "learn to math" instead of littering this thread with your bullshit. People want it easy for them, if you really are an engineer you would know that, but you dont, which means you are an irresponsible engineer. Which higher ups call "wasted talent". Unemployeed engineer maybe?

In either way, here are the sheets avail for anyone and they are correct until WG changes how skill advancing works. And more importantly they give an overview, calculating does not.

I dont say there are mistakes in your tables, but if the calculation is changed, your tables are more difficult to change than a small formula ...

Thats all I want to say about this topic, I'm out

You do realize I have to change only 1 line in the tables which would take like half a minute? Moreover, the chances that WG ever changes the formula are very low.

I visit this thread again and I must say, one of the most useful info in the guides section. For me the best tool for planning long term crew skill development, better than calculators. Bump up for everyone’s benefit and + for Ew_.

Ps. And from my point of view this “fish” is far better than “knowledge how to fish”, as it saves me the most priceless thing in life – time.

Tables are reference point, but calculator is more interesting to know how much xp you will need to get to your objective.

I'll give that calculator basic design but you have more option like estimate how many battle you will need to achieve your objective.
