Hello.

I've just noticed, after searching through the forum for about 30 minutes. That there are no topics dedicated towards Tank Museums around the world.

And I've been trying to find a good site that list up some good tank museums, and tank museums that is nearby where you happen to be.

Right now, I am in Florida, USA. And I've decided that i want to go to a nearby tank museum and see what collection they have. What I've noticed that its actually bit confusing to find one.
I do find one, but its just one. There is no other museums you could compare it to. Nor much info on how large their collection of World War 2 stuff either.

But this game is about tanks. Its the most military tank focused community you can find yourself in. So why not make a thread about Tank Museums throughout the world, so that members of this forum who happen to be vacationing or lucky enough to live nearby, can go see the tanks they play in this game in real life?

if people would like to help me. Please do give me advice on different tank museums you know about, and perhaps been in as well. Do also post about your experience or what you remember when you visited a tank museum, even if its one already mentioned. The more reviews the better.

What I do hope is some of the wargaming devs will see this, they gotta have a good idea where to find some good tank museums around the world. Afterall, they keep bringing tanks to their conventions.

Please do post the Museums Name, Place and Country.

Current List of Tank museums.

Historical Museum Decembre 1944 in La Gleize in Belgium. It's not only tanks museum but they have there Tiger II. Another one is Swiss Military Museum in Full in Switzerland.  6000 square metres, it's also not only tank museum but they there many vehicles including Tiger II too. There's also a lot of monuments in Europe like Panther in Grandmenil (Belgium) or Tiger in Vimoutiers (France).  I'm going to visit this places soon so maybe i'll share some photos when i come back. :Smile_Default:

Oh and I forgot about one in Poland: Lubuskie Military Museum in Drzonów. It's very interesting, especially if you want to see only two SU-152's in Europe! There is also T-34/76, T-55 and more.

yeah, the goal isn't that the museums are specified for tanks, but that they contain some amount of tanks or some tanks, so that people can actually go see a tank up close and personal.
