Since it's sunday already again and I'll have to return to the barracks soon, I wondered whether there are some people out there who can share or understand my agony.

Currently I'm mid-way through Boot Camp in Germany and I'm already dreading every day of the six weeks I still have to spend there. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun and you learn lots of interesting stuff, but the constant ass-kicking by our drill sergeants and the exhaustion is really killing me. Giving up is not an option though, since I don't want to waste those weeks I already spent there (Yeah, you can do that in Germany, since you can sign up for the voluntary service for 7 to 23 months which gives you the option to resign in the first 6 months of your service).

So, maybe you could tell me what you had to endure during your Training Phase to get me going again. Big plus this week is the punishment of our platoon leader. Five hours of cleaning stuff on Wednesday and Thursday and some more on Friday \o/. At least we'll go for the shooting range during the week. A sorrow shared is sorrow halved, right?

Depressed Regards

AIM

P.S.: This might sound a lot like whining, but I just couldn't help it. And we didn't even do our three bivouacs yet =( . At least you got a badass poll.

"You must cast your vote in each question of the poll." So when I choose "No" in the first question I can't complete the poll. You will only get those "Yes" answers now ;)

Whoops. How do I fix that? Enabling that option to tick both answers in the first question?

See, that's how the army brainwashed me =/

The easiest way would be to add an answer like "I'm not in service"
