Cheap premium tank money maker
GTGT
13 Aug 2012
I see some new gift packages will be available from the 24th August 2012, and I'm tempted with either a PzKpfw B2 740(f) or a PxKpfw 38H735(f). Which of these 2 tanks would be the better credit (money) maker? (or is there another cheap, premium tank that is a good money maker?)
Also (Q2!), I have never used the giftshop before. Can you buy a tank in the giftshop for your own account, or does it have to be 'gifted' to someone else?
Q3: I saw a tip when a game was loading - premium tank experience can be converted to free experience. Does this still cost gold, or can this be converted for free?
Thanks for any help,
GT

1) B2 actually has a special MM for it sees only tier 4 fights, I think I was earning an average of 20k a match, premium account ofc.
2) Yes you can buy 'gifts' for yourself
3) It still cost gold to convert experience.

Yes you can gift it to yourself *insert forever alone meme here*
Correct. it costs gold to convert xp, regardless of tank.
I am not sure if b2 or 38h would be good moneymakers, but if you are looking for "cheap" premiums, i advise getting a t5 premium tank.
P.S: 38h is getting standard t2 MM now, so it gets into more "hardcore" battles.

If you're sure you don't want any other tanks than the two you mention I'd go for the B2, simply because it's a higher tier.
The 38h735 is really fun, but at tier 2 the credit income is quite low.
If you really want to earn credits go for something in higher tiers
Already by tier 5 the credit income is better.

All normal tier V tanks are as good in making credits as cheap premium tanks.

the best money maker is type59 but it is not very cheap so maybe the type 62 and yes you can buy things in the gift shop for your own

Those tanks suck at moneymaking. They are fun to drive, but because they are low tier they get only a small amount of credits.
If you want a cheap moneymaker then get a good T5 tank/spg: KV-1 (the best one!), T1 HT, M4 Sherman, Pz IV, BDR, Hummel, or a Stug if you like TDs.
The cheapest premium tank that earns a nice amount of cash is the Churchill.

The best money maker depends a lot on play style.
I make most money on Type 59 as well, and I'd imagine Type 62 makes a lot as well, at least for me.
Some clan mates makes a lot more credits on the heavies than the Type 59, as they're not into brawling the way the mediums do it.

Does that mean it only gets into battles with other tier 4 tanks, or never battles higher than tier 4? Is this built-in to the game, or something you can activate?
(Don't suppose there is a similar feature for my chaffee is there?!!

buying cheap premium tanks is a waste of money. you can make a good farming machine out of PzIV or KV-1. rlite those two, get a 100% crew and watch them credits grow ;)

Its specific to that tanks MM.
Unless you platoon the highest enemy tank you'll see are other tier 4's/
Hezters/ M3lees, and AMX40's are actually a tough for this little guy!
You need to know where to aim!
Hey if the chaffee has a better MM I'd probably still have mine!
