Please, help me chose a tier VIII heavy tank !

any of those can beat the sh*t out of the other one. BUT they all require a different playstyle, they all have different roles... so what do YOU want?

King Tiger. Even after nerfing and nerfing and more nerfing, it can still hold its own against all others of its tier. Just be sure to carry a fire kit.

T-32 and Is-3
I dont have the T-32 yet but i have the most respect for it playing against it. And Is-3 is Tier 8 on easy mode.

Kv-4 if learned it can dominate

Despite is 'weaker' gun, I'm a huge fan of the T32 over all - it has great speed, mobility, armour and gun depression for a tier 8 heavy.

Either KT or IS3. Yet is3 evolves into is7 , and KT umm not so lucky

I would vote for the IS3.
They are overall very balanced with one another, but without getting any details about how you like to play, I would have to give it to the IS3 for ease of use, variety of uses and the great punch it offers.

Not to highjack the thread, but are tier 8 heavies worth it. I have a KT researched, money squirreled away and even a slot avalable but have not bought it due to guys complaining about high tiers after 7.5 being Arty parties and OP tier 10 tds. Is this really a problem all the time or just for a couple of games a night. I only have enough free xp for the tracks and not the turret and the guns. So i'll have to do it with a stockish tank.

LoL neg rep me all you want , Fact is the IS-3 is the noob tank of tier 8 heavies,  your best defense is to stare the enemy in the face and you got the mobility to outrun some mistakes and the BL-9 ... do i need to comment.
Im not saying any idiot will win in it (as is the case) but its deam easy to learn compared to the other ones.

King Tiger if you're a sniper, IS3 if you want nearly impenetrable armor,T32 has the same gun as T29 which isn't a good thing and it has weaker turret armor but is agile for a heavy,AMX 50 100 no comment and vk 4502A just sucks,it can be easily destroyed by a KV-1S or ARL44
Russian heavies are easy to play because they are too good( kv-1s is way too OP for its tier and the rest of them are too impenetrable) , but I don't use them (only KV-1 as money maker) , you're batter at this game if you try to win and be good with weaker tanks,I prefer german and US heavies (now i have King Tiger and M6 )

I played Ausf A for a long time, I can win against IS3 by brawling because VK A is taller and IS3 will bounce most shots of a turret and you keep shooting its (IS3s) commander hatch.
On distance also...ausf A can win as much as IS3 can.

But its not 100% the best, there is no tank that will grant you 100% win ratio.
Its a good heavy (medium like) and it deserves its spot on the poll list.
Just because noobs can't play VK A they won't be able to properly play russian,american or french tanks...

Voted KT, i like the allround armor and gun combo. while mobility is lower then it peers it can turn in place very fast to keep front facing flanking enemies. have played both T32 and IS-3 and own VK ausf A.

IS-3:
+good mobility
+less risk of fire
+nice overall armour
- gun accuracy and RoF
- slow traverse in place

T32:
+awesome turret armour
+ good mobility
- least penetration of all T8
- low hull armour

KT:
+frontal armor
+accurate and fast gun
+ good acc and turn rate in place
- weak side armor
- prone to fire

AMX100: (only used in test)
+high pen, DPS burst gun
+high mobility
- slow reload when magazine is empty
-weak all round armor


Vk Auf A:
+good mobility and acc, climbs hills very good
+less chance of fire (porsche diesel engine ;))
- slightly more pen then T32 (105L52)
- less armor on the hull then KT
