King Tiger. Even after nerfing and nerfing and more nerfing, it can still hold its own against all others of its tier. Just be sure to carry a fire kit.
I have elite KT, but it seems I do not know how to play it because I have only 37 % win ratio. Can you tell me what equipment you use ?

i votet for is-3 but go for kv-4 and T28prot so you must not start a new line its easier and you dont need so much XP and Credits
and for KT if it is elite sell it and buy you first T9 tank

Maybe because I didn't included the VK4502 Ausf A. The reason: I have not researched that line at all. I have KT but I do not know how to play it, I am 1 step away from KV-4 (I have KV-3 and I like it), I like ARL 44 but it seem a long way to AMX 50 100.

T-32 , Is a fun tank to play - Personally - In teir 8s the only tanks that i found difficult to face up to in teir 8 was the IS-3 - Liked to go up against the KT -Most often than not could get the KT in a one on one battle - KV 4 - Its a pain playing with the 122mm , especially after the 8.0 patch , Dont know how the 107mm long gun performs so have no view on it - Never really liked this tank . When , i played with the IS-3 myself just could not adjust to the play-style required for it , And, Somehow felt that it took ages to load and lock on targets even with 100% crew and modules (gun rammer ,vertical stabilizer ,Enhanced gun laying drive)

hy s222 as i said go for KV-4 and for T28Prot
then you have 3 tier 8 not 2 T28Prot is a very good tank only a little bit slow
i havent played the kv-4 but with my pershing i shoot and shoot and shoot and no penetration it also has good gun and you can go for is-4 one of the best tanks ingame

Excellent! I am well on my way to the IS3, so nice to hear it is well regarded.
Personally I got on best so far with the VK4502A, but that may just be because the KV4 needs a particular style and I was still a noob when I had my KT....

The responses here hint at the tier being really quite well balanced
I have only played the IS-3, KT and KV-4 from your list and the IS-3 wins out of those. As for the others the Frenchie is as usual paper thin armour but if you like autoloader playstyle then maybe it is ok... tbh I see the French heavy line as a giant waste of time. The T32 has a pretty good reputation but I think the gun is a little poor for a tier 8 - I will have one soon so I will see for myself

I can only speak for KT and IS-3,atm. Like them both, but they are played differently- KT is a sniper,as most german tanks, quite agile with top engine and tracks and with good angling armor is very good- but as stated already, with the engine and transmission on front it can get on fire pretty easily. Have your finger close to the fire extiguinsher button just in case.
IS-3 is a different approach- it is an assault tank, your move straight towards your enemy and hammer it down. The pike is very good to bounce shots, but the secret is to have your tank ALWAYS turned face front to the other tank. A slight angling and you are some HP poorer. The BL-9 is a treasure, not bad accuracy for a Russie gun and the speed with the top engine is great. Actually many of the deaths i have is due to go forward and find myself alone facing several tanks all by myself- of course that ends badly. Pair yourself with some mediums or other IS's and go hunting wolf pack style.

Personally I have rammer, vents and binocs. GLD could work also, or the module that cuts by half the arty splash ( sorry can't remenber the proper name atm)
Well just my 2 cents.

I have IS-3 and KV-4 and I used to have Tiger II and IMHO fully upgraded KV-4 is best of the bunch. It just has so much more armor than IS-3 or Tiger II and it can take a lot of punishment.
Some stats:
Tank / Matches played / Victory ratio / AVG dmg per battle
Tiger II / 382 / 55% / 1499
KV-4 / 165 / 60% / 1535
IS-3 / 108 / 61% / 1509
Funniest of all: Despite having over twice the matches played the Tiger II has only 15 Steel Wall achievements while KV-4 has 23. IS-3 has only 5 Steel Walls so it's doing quite bad too.

Because the IS-3 isn't a wall, it's an assault tank. You lead the pack and play peekaboo with dumb enemies or use mobility to your advantage.

If you like the KV-3 then you'll like the KV-4 as well. More of the same. Pretty slow, but very good all round armour so you can angle your tank to great effect. Guns change a bit, from bad accuracy, low RoF, high damage gun (KV-3) to good accuracy, high RoF, medium damage gun (KV-4). It's also very heavy, so I'm guessing it will be pretty fun in 8.0 when physics gets implemented.

I don't have experience from KV-4 but all others are very good tanks. Just different play styles. After you learn the play style for the tank any of those can dominate.
But in general good mobility > good armour, except good turret armour is nice to have. Guns in all tanks are good enough for their role.
Also think about the t10 in the end of tube. What do you want to play? German T10s are in general not as good as other nations T10s.

I had a look at your stats and you have a decent global WR but you do seem to suffer with the KT (and a bit the Tiger). I really liked my KT but I wasn;t the best with it - I dragged it back up to 47% win from 43% just before I sold it - but I seemed to end up on bad teams with it. TBH it was my first tier 8 heavy and I was still learning at that point - if I was to go back now I expect I would do better. I used the GLD, rammer and vents (standard set-up for me for HTs). Although the KT is quite bouncy I think its biggest asset is that it has a nice accurate gun and if you can sit back and snipe at people you can cause some serious pain.

Voted KT, i like the allround armor and gun combo. while mobility is lower then it peers it can turn in place very fast to keep front facing flanking enemies. have played both T32 and IS-3 and own VK ausf A.
raverse in place
T32:
+awesome turret armour
+ good mobility
- least penetration of all T8
- low hull armour
KT:
+frontal armor
+accurate and fast gun
+ good acc and turn rate in place
- weak side armor
- prone to fire

I'm sorry but T32 if angled correctly, can bounce a lot of shells on its hull. 132 mm coupled with the sheer angle make the hull armour superior to most of t8 tanks.

All T8 heavies are worth it IMO. (this excludes the French 50-100 but that is simply not a heavy)
So it comes down to personal preference:
Fairly fast assault tank? -> is3
Hull-down/gun depression ownage? -> T32
OVerall best sniper/solid armour/poorest mobility -> KT
Never played the KV4 and VK-A so no comments on those.
