I watched again all the 4 series again, and yesterday i saw the last episode.
There is a photography, an attention for the soundtracks, that moved me near to tears many times
just because some scenes were so intense, so Epic, and touching in the deep.
I will never forget this awesome serie.

Sorry but Starbuck killed it for me.
Starbuck should be Face.

If they'd just killed her off entirely it'd have been several orders of magnitude better. Like they did with Boxy and that Muffit. Remember the original Cylons? They only ever killed one thing in the entire series (Note their score in the Film was much higher), and that was for the goodness of mankind. They shot Muffit.
And lo there was much rejoicing!

Yes. This is very good series. I was watching twice. Finally - I bought it.
I am also watching SG1, SG Atlantis and Universe. Not the same quality of the story but still I like it.

in the last 12 years, this is the best serie i have seen.
not only for the subject, but for the quality.
it puts it a step above every serie i have seen since 2000

Most likely because since 2000 there's been no really good Sci-fi series apart from SG:Atlantis? Compare BSG to Babylon 5, and the New BSG gets blown into a cocked hat. Because (apart from the last series, and the follow on films and series) has better plots and characters. It also has by and far the best ever episode, The Deconstruction of falling stars.

I think the same, tho there was Spartacus and Game of Thrones too.
Spartacus, good series, but too much sex just to sell it. it's nice to see sometime, but it becomes boring and excessive.
It feels like they couldn't sell it without putting sex in it.
Game of Thrones very good series, i've read every book apart the last, but it feels LOW BUDGET compared
to Battlestar Galactica.
the problem of the last 10 year series is that they always have to struggle with the budget.
in BSG i didn't find any part in which you could see "we are in low budget so we are cutting it off".
they had the balls to end it without making it an infinite serie. it had a start and an end.

^ this. Its so nice to have a beginning middle and an END. They can always add parallel stories or what happened after. But a story needs an ending.

personally i never felt attracted by Babylon 5, but well i wasn't attracted even by star trek.
i always had some kind of repulsion of never ending tv series.
i think it's related to my grandma watching Dinasty when i was a child. ;)

B5 had the same amount of series as BSG. 5. Originally it was only meant to be 4.
Spin offs from BSG= 2
Spin offs from B5 =1

i tried to look at it like 4 years ago, but the make up was so crude, i think the new computer graphics have altered
my judgement over the old series :P

Considering it was from 20 years ago now, and was one of the first series to use mass CGI then of course its going to look dated. The story however is awesome. You can't use "oh CGI is so much better than 20 years ago" to discount it.

In your early 20's: "I'm closer to 20 than 30.
Age 23-27: "I'm closer to 25 than 30."
Age 28: "Bugger!"

at your age i don't think it's very mature to insult younger people just because they find something beautiful that
is not of your generation.
