Good morning ladies and gentleman!

I wanted to share with you shining example of some players behavior, watch replays (both with same player in other team, same map, same mode, just wonderfull) and feel free to comment. I will not post replays directly because I don`t know how and I don`t even know how to convert and I don`t care. I am lazy. Besides MODs could ban me for "naming and shaming" if in bad mood so here are links to download:
M6, pls watch first (6 frags!):
http://www.mediafire...arhlfhof8kuc33d
T34 heavy:
http://www.mediafire...ouhvnn75eo0v2v3

Nice watching and have fun!

Pay attention to in-game chat, all interesting stuff is there. KV-2 player. Both battles same guy. Waiting for comments.

And since I am posting pls explain to me once for all times, how it is with coated optics and binoculars? Do they cumulate? Is "view range" something different then "spotting level"?

spotting distance is hard capped at 445 meters however they do stack and add to view range. However it is .... glitched. You cannot really get any exact numbers on it.

My e50m with 400 meter view range, Fans and Brothers in arms which results in 441 meter view range can see at 630 meters. Example; So the maximum "relayed view distance" is some for me unknown factor. 441 meters is what i can spot / see them on my own if they have no camo value. But how far can one really see with stacked binos / coated optics / fans / brothers in arms.

There is a difference between the distance you can see targets and the distance you can spot targets. The first is determined by draw distance, the second is determined by the view range (spotting range) of your tank.

Good morning, well I'm too lazy to watch the replay, but I can imagine what I will see  .
´Binocs and Optics don't cumulate. When you have both you drive with 10% more viewrange and when you stop and wait until Binocs kick in you have 25% more spotting range(which is often very crucial).
Well I guess your second answer is if you can see the enemy as far as your viewrange goes, and the answer would be no. Your enemys also have a Camovalue which lowers the sigthrange of you (I don't completly sure ,but it should be so: the camobonus is a multiplier to your viewrange, for example your enemy is 20% less sigthable, than yourviewrange*0,8 is the spotting range (400m*0,8=360m spotting range,= you see your enemys 360m away).

You can never have more viewrange than 500m(although I thougth to have read, that if you have more than 500m viewrange the extra viewrange is comulated with the multiplier, but even then this is negletiable) and your client only show you enemys up to 700m(when they are spotted from teammates).

view range is spotting range. you can spot up to 445m. its also capped at 500m with binos and optics, which means this value will be reduced by enemy camo.

drawing range is different. on your image that e100 was spotted by someone else, and you can see it up to 700m if its at the edge of the square.

Thanks to both of you. +1 for your effort, but pls watch replays. These replays can be used to cheer you up, if you have bad day and suck hard, think "there is always someone even more stupid...".

You don`t know what you are missing. There is everything! "Eat my golden ammo", "l2p you noobs", "omg noob team"... This is so good example that I even suspect this was troll... IN BOTH BATTLES!!! Even more funny that he didn`t do anything.

Thank you So i should imagine a 700x700 meter box around my tank , that makes sense now. Is it locked in any way or does the draw distance box "turn with" the tank?

Best thing to do in that situation is to just ignore them and they will go away or get bored of no one replying.

Are you not surprised that I was defending Prokhorovka AND met same guy talking same s*** in BOTH BATTLES? Come on! What are the odds? He was even driving same tank!
Or is it WG trolling me???

its easier to imagine if you draw a circle around your tank with a 1000m diameter. (means its border is 500m from your tank) and then, you draw a square around this circle. (means circle touches the square at 4 points). now, the circle is your max spotting range, and the square is your max drawing range. none of them turns with your tank, these are static.

example: green is your spotting, blue is your drawing range. tank has only 400m view range here, this is why its smaller. note how blue edges are further than its borders.
Spoiler

You are confusing spotting (view) range (the maximum distance at which you can spot an enemy) which is capped at 445m and maximum sight range (which is the maximum range that you will see tanks spotted by team members within radio range) which is capped at about 645 metres.

Binos and Coated optics increase view range and enemy tank camo values reduce that view range, but however the calculation turns out it is hard capped at 445m.

Binos and Coated Optics do not affect maximum sight range but Draw Distance in the graphics settings does affect this as far as I am aware.
